It was extremely early in the morning when Bucky had woken up. His train was arriving to the station at around seven, and it was currently about six am. He didn't want to wake up Bailey yet, especially since she would probably be in pain.

So, he stood in the kitchen and wrote her a little letter. The brunette knew that Bailey would need something to comfort herself with once he goes, especially because she hates to ask for help.

"Bailey girl." Bucky whispered to the girl as he knelt down beside her. "Bails wake up."

Baileys emerald eyes began to flutter open, smiling as they landed on Bucky as he stood there in uniform. "Good morning sergeant." She said in her sleepy voice.

Bucky laughed, kissing her forehead. "Come on, I made some breakfast before I go." He said.

"Buck, I could've made you something." Bailey said as she stood up and followed him to the kitchen. "But it sure does smell great."

Both bailey and Bucky sat at the table and ate their breakfast. Bailey tried to keep herself calm, avoiding the tears that already threatened to pour out of her eyes.

Bucky clearly noticed it, he could read bailey like a book. Even the littlest things were easy to notice on her. "Bails, it's alright." He said, standing up and moving behind her. "I'll be back before you know it."

Bailey frowned as she felt Bucky's hands rub her shoulders, leaning back so her head just touched his chest. "This is a lot harder than I wanted it to be." She said, tears already falling down her face. "Tell me something happy."

"I love you." Bucky smirked, leaning over and kissing her cheek. "And I'll only ever love you, no matter what."

"And I'll only ever love you, james Barnes." Bailey said, "forever and always."

"Always and forever." Bucky replied, "come on, I can't miss the train."

As they arrived to the train station, Bucky and Bailey stood there along with Bucky's mother and sisters. His mother was a wreck, it worried her that her only boy was going out to the war, especially since that's how Bucky's father had passed away.

"James, you be careful out there." Bucky's mom said, "you have all of us waiting here for you to come back home."

Bucky nodded, leaning down and hugging his shorter mother. "I'll be back, ma." He tried to reassure her.

His next goodbyes were to his sisters. Both Gracie and Claire held Bucky in a hug for a few seconds, even though they weren't all that close with Bucky, they were still sad. "Don't annoy mom too much." He whispered to them, causing them to laugh.

Then he got up to Becca, and she was a complete mess. Her eyes were swollen as she cried, along with the tears that stained her cheeks.

Bucky didn't hesitate to grab Becca in a hug, holding her tightly. "Stay out of trouble." He whispered, "and if Martino comes back, kick his ass."

Becca laughed a little bit, nodding her head. "Be careful, buck." She said, "I need my big brother here to protect me."

The brunette siblings held their hug tighter one more time before Bucky let go. His finally goodbye that we was most definitely dreading. Bailey.

The boy hesitantly walked closer to the girl as tears were blurring her vision. But, she wasn't waiting for him, so she jumped into his arms.

Tears finally poured out of her eyes as she gripped his shirt. "Don't go.. please.. I-" she sobbed into his shoulder.
