While the journey to the next hydra facility was long, the commandos each used their time to take naps. That was, all except Steve and bailey, and monty who was indie driving.

The truck was quiet for a little bit as the two sat there awake, each of them enjoying the silence.

"You know how worried I was?"
Bailey whispered, turning her head slightly towards Steve. "It was like everyone I knew was leaving me all at once."

Steve sighed, looked up at bailey. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "I got this opportunity to get out on the field, but heading allowed to tell anyone about it or else they'd drop me."

Bailey didn't say anything for a few seconds, looking down at her hands. "Look Steve, you know I can't stay mad and either you or buck." She said, "but you left at the worst possible time. I really needed you, but you just vanished."

"Bailey I'm sorry, I really am." He said, "but you've got to understand this was a once in a lifetime thing."

Bailey looked at Steve for a second, nodding her head the smallest bit. "I get it." She said.

When bailey decided she was going to be a doctor, she spent a lot of time and money in medical school. She hardly got to see her boys when she was away, and the hours she spent studying were extremely insane.

"Did someone day my name?" Bucky asked with a croaky voice as he tiredly lifted his head up.

"Nope." Steve laughed.

Bucky nodded, putting his head back down. "What are you two talking about?" He asked.

Bailey smirked. "I was just yelling at Steve a little bit, putting some sense into him." She said, "but then I realized he did the right thing."

Steve smiled, "I always do the right thing."

Both bailey and Bucky looked at each other, then back to Steve, and laughed. "Says the kid who decided to get into alley fights all the time." Bucky said.

"If I ran, I would've made it worse."

"But the cardio is great." Bailey joked, trying to stop herself from laughing loudly. "But you did the right thing Stevie, really."

Steve smiled. "Boy am I glad to hear that." He said, "because this next facility is supposed to be one of the tougher ones to get through. I saw it in Schmidt's office. The layout is complicated and way too big for us to go in groups."

"So wait." Bailey said, looking at Steve confused. "If we want a chance at finding Schmidt, we all have to go solo into the building?"

Steve nodded. "It's our only shot at finding him there. If he's even there."

Bucky gave Bailey a worried expression. "Bails, you don't have to come in on this one if you don't want to." He said, "you can be like.. our getaway driver."

Bailey shook her head, checking her pocket for her communicator. "I'll be fine buck." She said, "if anything happens, I've got my communicator handy."

"I'm trusting you here, bails."

"And I'm trusting you, James."

Bucky looked at bailey with a fake shocked look. "Did you just james me?" He asked, a small smirk creeping onto his face.

"I think I did."

"Alright guys wake up." Monty said from the front as the truck came to a stop. "We are about half a mile away so it's safest if we ditch the truck here and then run."

Everyone nodded and made their way out of the truck and onto the dirt road. "So what's the game plan here?"
DumDum asked, fixing his hat.

Steve walked in front of everyone, speaking just about loud enough for everyone to hear the plan. "We get there and split up into solos so we can find Schmidt. This is the largest facility so far so going in groups just gives them more time to get away." Steve said, "and everyone's got their communicators with them so the second you spot them, tell us."

"Your letting the lady go alone?" One of the other guys asked, pointing to bailey.

The blonde sighed, taking out her little rod and extending it to a staff. "I'm more than capable of doing this." She said, pointing the staff at him. "But are you, pinky?"

Dum dum laughed. "Bullseye is definitely my favorite." He said, turning to see both Steve and Bucky's stern faces. "Ok ok, sorry."

Bailey smirked, adjusting her suit before they approached the gates. "If one of us don't make it back in time, just go." She said, "this place is too big to send someone in to search if we want to get to the next location in time."

"So if you were the one to be left in there-"

"Then you'd leave me and I'd figure it out." Bailey cut the man off, "I'm more than capable of getting out on my own."

Steve and Bucky looked at each other worriedly. "Everyone understands what we have to do?" Steve asked, holding his shield out in front of himself.

With the nod of approval, the commandos began to run in, killing everyone and everything in sight.
