(Y/n) P.O.V.
After the Vision was able to wield Mjolnir, I think I speak for us all when I say it's safe to bet he is with us. Steve gave us three minutes to get ourselves together before we get on the jet to Sokovia. I speak to Thor first. "Where have you been?" I ask. "With Selvig. He helped me. That is all that matters." I shake my head. "You boys and your secrets. I never got a straight answer from you, or Loki, or father when it came to something serious. You are definitely three of a kind." I say in a good mannered tone. "I'm sorry I left you, but I had to." I shake my head. "Yes, yes, I understand. Sometimes..." I pause, remembering all the things I've felt lately, "Sometimes we have to go away for the greater good." He looks at me with confusion. "(Y/n)..." I wave him off. "It is no matter. All is forgiven."
"May I cut in?" Steve asks. "Of course." I respond a bit coldly. I embrace Thor for a moment, and break before he can react, then talk with Steve. "I'm sorry." I'm taken aback. I certainly wasn't expecting that. "I'm not stupid, (Y/n). You're still afraid. I don't know what you say in that dream, maybe I don't want to know, but I know I shouldn't have lashed out at you. Maybe you were right, or rather, you were right. We're a team. Can you forgive me." I was never one for the kind words of a man, but I suppose Steve is an exception. "It seems like my opinion matters greatly to you." I say. "Maybe it does."
"You're lucky." I tell him, keeping an unreadable face. "How so?" He asks. "I'm very forgiving." I smile now, to which he smiles in return. "I'd follow you anywhere, Cap. I trust your judgement. Most of the time." I tell him. "Then I guess I am lucky."
"We all saw something bad in our dreams, Tony included. I defend him because, yes, I do see something of myself in him. Guilt and anguish. And I know you harbor that too. All of us do. Think of the pain someone else feels before assuming they are wrong. Please. We're here to help, not hurt." He nods. "I guess we could all learn from you." I smile. "Yes, yes you could."

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."
I keep those words in mind as I fight my way through the barrage of bots. One after another, arrow after arrow. I kick and punch and shoot and fire and dodge. It doesn't matter how many I destroy, there are always more. But determination runs in my veins, and pushes me forward. I carry civilians away and protect families, feeling like my actions have meaning once more. I feel as though we are gaining until the ground beneath me begins quaking ferociously. A section of the city begins rising into the air. Civilians begin screaming, structures begin breaking. "Do you see? The beauty of it, the inevitability. You rise, only to fall." Ultron calls from above.
"You, Avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal." I frown. I vow to prove him wrong. "Incoming already came in. Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job: tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt 'em back. You get killed, walk it off." Steve says. I huff a laugh, but get back to fighting. I get closer to a structure, a broken bridge, with many civilians fleeing. I run to them, helping them off the breaking ground.
"I got you! Just look at me." I hear Steve say. I look for him for a moment, and when I don't see him, I look over the edge to find him holding onto a frightened women. "I've got you." I assure, reaching down so Steve places the woman in my grip. I hoist her over the edge, and get her onto solid ground. "Go!" I order. She frantically calls her thanks as she runs. As Steve climbs over there is another bot, speaking. "You can't save them all. You'll never-" I throw it over the edge before it finishes. "You'll never what? You didn't finish!" Steve calls. I chuckle at him, playfully smacking his shoulder. "What, would you like it to come back?" I ask. Thor lands on the bridge on the top of another vehicle he must have saved. "What, were you napping?" Steve asks.
