When the jester gets mad

"...only a smile?" he asked. I nodded. He sighed and tried to do it, but broke out in tears. "I dont remember how!" he cried. I sighed, and showed a small smile. "Can i hug you?" i asked. He nodded and i hugged him tightly. "I remember when this happened to me." I whispered. He sipped his eyes and looked up at me.

"My cousins helped. I was smiling brighter than the sun." I chuckled. He laughed quietly and I took his hand. "Let's go get some ice cream, alright?" I asked. He looked at me confused. "But...I couldn't smile." He said. I smiled.

"You tried, and that counts! So, what's your favorite ice cream flavor?" I asked. He thought about it. "Chocolate." He said. I nodded and I started walking with him by my side. "I have some friends who can help make our ice cream." I smiled.

I walked into the mess hall and tapped Sato on the shoulder. "Hey sugar man, can you help make us ice cream?" I asked. He nodded and gave Kota a small smile. "POKEBALL!" I yelled. He looked up at me. "Come with us." I demanded. He sighed and nodded, following me as we went into the kitchen.

"Can I pick you up?" I asked. He nodded and I picked him up and carefully sat him on the counter where we could watch Sato.

The door opened and Eri came bouncing in with Kacchan following behind. "Dad!" Eri giggled. I smiled and picked her up, kissing her cheek. "Thanks for watching her babe." I said, kissing kacchan's head. He nodded and I turned to Kota.

"Kota, this is Eri, my daughter, and this is katsuki bakugou, my boyfriend." I smiled. He gave a small wave and Eri tried to climb into the counter next to him. I laughed and picked her up, placing her beside Kota. "Hi! I'm Eri!" She smiled, sticking an apple sticker to his cheek.

He peeled it off his face,looked at it, before sticking it back on. He then took eri's sticker pad and stuck a sticker on her head. She giggled and Kota actually smiled. Someone gasped from the doorway, and I looked over to see Mandalay. "Kota! You smiled!" She said, in shock. He looked away from her.

Mandalay rushed up to me and grabbed my hand, dragging me out. "Ok what did you do to make Kota smile?" She asked. I shrugged. "My daughter just stuck a sticker to his face, and he did it back." I said. She looked at me in shock. "You have a daughter?" She asked.

"Long story." Is all I said.

"...could Eri stay here for a while?" She asked. I scoffed. "Absolutely not. My kid is only staying with my boyfriend or myself." I said. "Alright! Well...could Kota go with you? I'll have to ask his permission obviously, but your the only one who could make him smile in two years! He hasnt even talked that much!" She said.

I was quiet for a moment. "I'll have to talk with my boyfriend, and Kota has to approve it." I said. She nodded frantically. I walked back into the room and smiled at my family. They were all eating ice cream, and sato was even kind enough to make eri a new apple ice cream.

"Shes going to want that every day of her life now." i said to sato. He smiled and became flustered before he left. "Hey eri, why dont you go with the pack and see if they'll play with you? Kota, Mandalay wants to talk with you." i said. They both went off and i went with kacchan to our room.

"Mandalay wants me to be kota's guardian." i said. He looked at me surprised. "You just met the kid!" he said. I sighed. "I know! But i think we both know Mandalay isnt fit to be a guardian. She said that i was the first one to make him smile or talk in a years." i explained. Kacchan Grabbed my hand.

"Whatever you decide, well do it together." he said. I nodded and we put our foreheads together. "I love you." i whispered. Kacchan smiled up at me. "I love you to." he said.

There was a knock on the door and i opened it. "Oh, hey aizawa." i said. "Hey problem child. I might have mentioned that you and your friends could sing, and so now they want a performance." he said. I sighed and kacchan laughed at me.
