"Those folks were, like, crazy mad," Sisu said as they walked through Talon. She kept on recalling about the townsfolk angrily demanding her to pay the items she stole. "I just wanted to bring some gifts to the Talon chief, Dang Hai."

The woman raised her eyebrows in mild interest. "Is that who you're looking for, dear? I know exactly where he is."

"You do?" Sisu said, lifting her head up.

"Mm-hmm. I will take you there." The woman motioned forward.

As they walked, two huge men appeared out of nowhere and flanked the old woman and Sisu like bodyguards, following alongside. Sisu turned and gave each of them a big smile but the men just stared ahead coldly. They came to a great stone gateway as the two men cranked a wheel to lower the drawbridge. The old woman steered Sisu onto the bridge.

"See? That's what I've been trying to tell my girl, Raya," Sisu exclaimed. "And she's all like, "You can't trust people." "Don't talk to anyone." "I only eat terrible foods I dried myself." "

The woman chuckled. "Come, dear. Chief Dang Hai is just outside the city, beyond the gates."

"Away from the water, huh?" Sisu said, surprised and impressed. "Wow. He really likes living on the edge."

They opened the huge set of doors to the final gate. Beyond the city was the dense dark jungle. Compared to the bustle of Talon, the deep buzz of insects seemed ominous. With relief, Sisu spotted another figure standing close by in the darkness.

"Hi there, Dang Hai," Sisu said, staring at him. "Um, I'm Sisu, and I've come here to offer you some..."

She stopped talking and stared at the figure. Looking around, she saw more figures. They are on that same spot and have been standing there for a long time. Sisu leaned in close and saw something gray and cold. The thing has taken shape with the body of a human. Sisu stared at the person, realization creeping toward her. Finally, the horrifying realization dawned upon her. The person was made of stone.

Sisu glanced around. As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, she realized she was surrounded by some statues. This wasn't Dang Hai's home. It wasn't home at all. It was a graveyard.

An ominous hissing rattle sounded somewhere nearby, making her blood ran cold. A Druun emerged from the trees, coming right toward her. But just as it was about to engulf her, a flash of blue light pushed it back. Sisu turned to see the old woman and the bodyguards back by the gate. The woman was holding up a small Dragon Gem shard. The woman was Dang Hu, Dang Hai's mother and the merciless chief in Talon.

Dang Hu narrowed her eyes. "Now, you're gonna tell me where I can find those other Dragon Gem pieces, or I'll have to leave you outside with that thing. Take your pick."

"But I... I trusted you," Sisu said, stunned and betrayed.

"Big mistake," Dang Hu replied. stepping backward. Her bodyguards began to close the gate. "You better talk fast. It looks hungry."

Sisu watched as more Druun emerged from the trees. "No. No, no. No, no, no!"

But the old woman lowered her gem shard and the Druun rushed in. Desperate, Sisu started to rushed toward the closing gates, then... The gate suddenly blasted open. Raya rolled though on a speeding Tuk Tuk and shined her gem at the Druun, swiping the gem out of Dang Hu's hand.

"Raya!" Sisu cried with relief.

"Stop her!" Dang Hu roared.

"Sisu, I told you to stay on the boat," Raya exclaimed.

"Sorry!" Sisu shouted. climbing up onto Tuk Tuk. Once she is on, Raya gave the gem shard to Sisu.

"Hold on to this for me, will you?"
