It was almost until dawn as the ship arrived at a nearby island, near the Manhattan docks over the East River not to far from reach. Warren and Hypno followed the Foot lieutenant into an abandoned observatory. The giant doors from behind them closed, leaving it with a shattering thud. The shady building was once used by the scientists but they abandoned it years ago. It was covered with old plants and wooden boxes that were washed ashore and scattered, making the waves polluted. Glass has been scattered everywhere, glistening the moonlight, rusted old rails hang, and vines grew from the ceiling, swaying gently in the chill air. It seemed very quiet. Too quiet. And very dark. There was no person in sight.
"Villain to villain, your hideout is a bit... lacking," Hypno said, admiring the wrecked building. Warren agreed with him, feeling a little anxious. "Might I suggest some velvet, a fireplace, maybe a fuzzy white cat with a diamond necklace?"
But soon, Hypno's conversation came to a stop as the Foot Lieutenant walked up to a head of stairs. A sudden light of purple flames burst from the candles, breaking the darkness, flames of Shredder's purple eyes that haunted the world years ago. There, emerging from the shadows, was the Foot Clan. The evil race was supposed to go down two years ago ever since they found the dark armor pieces for Shredder.
The lieutenant turned his head to the silent crowd, holding the key. Beside him was Serpici the Baskenvy that served her master and behind him was a portal, covered in pink gooey tissue, probably some alien bio growth which they call it.
"Tonight, we liberate our masters from their dimensional prison," he declared. "With this key, we shall free them to lay waste to this world and enslave its people."
"I thought we were just gonna rob a bank and be, you know, crime buddies," Warren said, confused. The earthworm news anchor was right. Besides, they were signed to steal that key.
"And how come you keep calling your Krang alien things masters?" A voice asked. It came from the mutant jellyfish named Kira, who had joined the Foot clan five years ago. She was very curious about who they are and what species the aliens look like. It also gets the nerves on those soldiers once they have no idea why she joined them in the first place.
"We've been over this, Kira," the lieutenant reminded her, annoyed. "We're here to find the key and free our masters ever since they were trapped five hundred years ago." He and the other soldiers didn't notice the blue glow from above and watched them from below. "We shall follow the Krang as they lead the Foot Clan to glory!" the leader declared.
"Booored," a bored voice echoed. The lieutenant looked up and saw the eight figures on top of the lab roof. Behind them, a blue mystic portal disappeared. The Foot Clan recognized those reptiles, the ones that they defeated before and foiled their plans. "You!"
"Leo!" Raph scowled.
"What? I was waiting for a good spot to jump in, but they just kept blabbity blab-ing."
Again, as usual, Shira began to snicker at Leo's pun. Reika shook her head very annoyed. He is never gonna learn, she thought. He always gets into trouble. The other Yokai folk are speechless when they see the Foot soldiers.
"Are these people Foot Clan?" Pavi asked, confused.
"Of course," Rin agreed. "They are part of an evil race of ninjas."
"I hate those faces," Galaxy sneered, removing her hoodie. She and Nebula are wearing their disguises, their jackets so they can hide their identity.
The Foot Clan seemed confused. "They don't look like the Krang," one of the soldiers muttered. "Why are they so fluffy?"
Pavi and Rudolf were also confused as to why the Foot Soldiers were looking at them funny. They have never seen them before like when they first encountered the turtles when they tried to steal paper. Then for a moment, Casey's eyes spotted the key in the leader's grasp. "There it is! That's the key!" he called.
"Get them! Don't let them interfere with the ceremony!" the leader yelled.
The soldiers took out their weapons and started to attack. With their birthmark hearts, stripes and spots glowing together, and the girls transforming back into their magical forms, the team jumped into battle. Shira and Leo used their ice and water magic to knock a few down while Manako and Mikey flipped their chainsaw and nunchucks together as pollen dust and vines whipped from Manako's vines and flowers.
Tomoka levitated a nearby box nearby and threw it down at a few soldiers as Donnie slammed his bo at his enemy. Raph smashed down some soldiers while Reika used her fire and her wings to claw and burn them down. Fighting alongside, Shira and Leo use their katanas to slash down the soldiers together.
Pavi and the others are very scared and they didn't even know what to do. They never met this kind of clan before because they seemed to be violent. Rin jumps beside them who has transformed her shifting powers into a wolf. "Come on!" she called arrogantly. "Help us fight them." She spun around and bit one of the soldier's arms and flung him away.
"W..We don't have any weapons!" Galaxy cried, stammering.
"Maybe using our hands?" Nebula suggested as she punched a soldier in the face.
Pavi began to take out her weapon. It was a Mystic Whip, a sky blue glowing cord that was able to grab objects and throw them at enemies or she would switch it around and defeat them. She lifted up her whip and with a cracking sound, she split the heads off of Foot soldiers with a snapping sound of her whip. Her Manaphy started to lift her antennas and they glowed in a bright pink light. The move is called Heart Swap, because she can avoid any danger if they get near her. Rudolf took out his Mystic potion bombs that he used to craft them with and he began to throw them at the soldiers. They exploded into a cloud of colorful smoke, blinding them.
Meloetta watched, scared, looking at the two clans fight. Medusa and Oria are doing their part by using their snake-like abilities. Nymphia was in charge of battling Serpici while Salazzle by using her twinkle attack and Gourgeist fought Maizie and Spirit using their energy power. Meloetta began to tremble until Shira rushed beside her.
"Stay with them, Meloetta," she told her. "You'll be safe with them." She began to flip and double kick two soldiers with both her legs and blow bubbles to blind the enemies. Another Foot soldier was about to strike Meloetta but Absol used her dark spell on the warrior. Lucario began to tackle the enemies down and nodded to Meloetta that she was safe. The songstress sighed in relief.
Casey kicked a nearby ninja and jumped to the ground. He dodged his way as the soldiers tried to outnumber him. His eyes caught on the leader putting the key into the slot and turning it to open the portal. "No! It's started!" Casey cried. Shira looked over to Casey and saw what he said was coming true. "He's unlocking the doorway! We need to get up there right now!"
"Casey, go. We've got you covered," Leo told him. He swung up his sword and portals Casey away, falling through inside of the vortex.
The teen falls from the air and goes to strike the Foot leader, but he dodges, backflipping away, causing the boy to fall over. Using his grappling hook, he swung and knocked down the leader off the balcony. He had finally done it now there was no Foot soldier to guard the key. Casey hurried over to grab it. Before he could pull the key out of the slot, a purple light rips open, sending everyone to be blown back by the blast followed by the rest of the Hamato. All of the tissue stretched and pulled as an opening appeared. Shira and the rest of her family get back up, gasping in horror and notice that the portal is glowing, while lighting strikes. Casey got back up and saw what was happening, the one thing that those monsters destroyed Earth, was coming true.
