Pavi's Story

Leo sucked in a breath of air through his teeth to get rid of the pain before he answered, "Some kind of drippy, crazy, Krang monster."

"No, I meant you!" Casey barked at the turtle. He knew that something was going with Leo. He wasn't listening to the others when they said they had to go back. Shira could see the harsh glare and felt like Leo wasn't experienced. "Why weren't you listening to anybody?'

"Because I was trying to get us into the other side of that fight and into the building!" Leo commented, figuring the plan was supposed to work perfectly, ignoring the harsh words.

"Well, that sure worked out well," Reika hissed angrily, folding her arms up sarcastically.

"But I was doing everything right." He let out a hiss and held his hand up to his ribs. He began to sit up until he was on the right position.

Shira watched helplessly, wondering what she could say. Casey seemed very angry at Leo and her boyfriend was trying to get them into the building. She shook her head, the memory replayed in her head of Leo ignoring his team, And he didn't do anything right. Raph was captured by the Krang, he almost got Casey murdered in front of everyone and they got separated from the others in the subway. Every thought of her broken brain almost made her wonder what was wrong. Leo never acted like this, never.

After all, why is Leo making bad decisions? "How could it go wrong?" Shira asked with a downhearted expression, while she carried Celebi. "Where did he get everything wrong?"

"Because he wasn't listening to your team," Casey replied, honestly. "Besides, Celebi got herself injured by that monster." He turned his head back to Leo. "You don't have the answers all the time and you didn't take advice from your future wife, Shira."

"But I'm the greatest ninja the world's ever seen," Leo barked, defending himself. "You said that."

"Leo, don't you get it?" Shira shouted to him, a mix of anger and sadness spread across her face. "Celebi got hurt and so did I. You almost got us killed by those things."

"I don't care, Shira," her boyfriend scolded her, narrowing his eyes. "Raph is all I care about. I know you are a special songstress and you always support me."

"Except it wasn't!" the leatherback hissed, standing back up to her feet, still holding Celebi. "We can't save Raph without a plan, acting foolish and expecting everything to work out. And I'm doing the best I can! Pioeian wanted the gem because she's after me. I am the last alien princess."

"Well," Leo snarled at her, "I wish that I am better off without you guys because you are so jealous of me being the greatest ninja!"

Shira's eye went wide in horror, pale and hurt, realizing what Leo had shouted at her by his sudden mean side. She never liked Leo's mean behavior like the time that they covered their pet goldfish with a rock and lied. And how terrible that Leo's sudden angry behavior broke her little mermaid heart into shell pieces. It's like he doesn't know her anymore.

This is ridiculous. Why could the others see that he was trying to be the greatest ninja? The pressure of this situation was all on Leo. He is their leader and he has to save Raph no matter what. Casey went still for a long time before he answered in a cold, venomous voice. "I was wrong."

"What?"

"You're impulsive, you're arrogant and you don't see that every decision you make could cost someone their life!" the man scolded. Pavi's eyes are filled with horror as Akua begins to whimper, clutching her arms around her owner. Reika starts to tremble, her anger slowly growing into a deathly stare at Leo cause she knew Casey was thinking. There is no hope in the cold teen's eyes and those uncomfortable memories raced in his head of the alien invasion. It was tense, and it was unbearable, heartbreaking and everything always goes in the wrong direction.
