Leo and the two girls looked around the tunnels for Raph. The corridors were long, dark and cold to their feet. Being inside a huge Technodrome would get them lost. Leo had told his younger siblings to figure out how to get inside the main frame and while they were on it, he took Shira and Reika along with him to find Raph and Meloetta. Shira looked at the glowing vines that are attached to the pink gooey wall. If they could follow the glowing spirits, maybe they might be able to reach Raph.
Heading around another corner, Reika began to think of what she said. She felt like an idiot back at the control room when Leo wasn't listening. She yelled at him, snapping her into her rage of that thing in front of her. Now she had another choice in mind: she has to apologize to Leo for what she had did.
"Wait, Leo!" Reika called up to him, trying to keep up. Leo stopped and turned to her, the sea turtle panting for air. She caught her breath before she spoke, "I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that to you, back at the subway. You're the one who didn't trust us."
Leo looked at the ashamed loggerhead. He knew that there was still good in her. "I know you didn't mean to. You were just upset that I was making bad choices. I am very sorry I acted like a jerk to you. I wasn't the one to treat you badly and I deserved to be the one being sorry. " He almost felt ashamed, his face showing a look of pain. "But I know that I have to save Raph and the world so you can be happy. I know I may not be the best leader, but-"
"Can we talk about this later?" Shira called overhead. "We need to keep going." Once more, she told herself to breathe and not think about risking her team.
The three looked over and they saw what they stumbled into. A fiery chamber was lit from the bottom like lava where they could see the city from the window. Leo took a cautious step out of the doorway and stared at the giant glass window in front of them. He can see the entire city, hearing the explosion throughout the city. Flames burst through the buildings, like he was gonna lose his home, everyone, even those that he really loved. Reika could see that the mouth of the cave looks like a giant dinosaur with three giant horns, one on the nose and two more on the head. Maybe a Triceratops, she guessed. They began to look and saw the ceiling above was full of breezies stuck in their pod prison. The little sprites are exhausted and drained as if the Technodrome is controlling them, all of their faces pale with color. Leo and Reika felt very sorry for them, with so much pain the Krang caused. Shira looked up and gasped, seeing something above.
"Leo!" Shira called out. "Up there!"
Getting her attention, Leo looked up and what he saw frightened him. Reika wondered why, as if something felt a sharp stab in her head. She was forced to look up until her eyes went wide. Meloetta is on that dark crystal with four glowing orbs surrounding her. It glowed eerily above the air as the orbs circle around the crystal. The Krang must have put her on that crystal to summon out the invasion.
"Meloetta..."
"She really is up there," muttered Reika quietly. Shira and Leo saw the pained look on Meloetta. Her eyes were glowing golden covered with golden cracks on her face like a very possessed person and could not fight the infection. Every spark of the crystal gave her more pain and became less powerful.
"That Crystal is..." Leo gasped, seeing the purple glowing gem.
"The Crystal of Darkness," Shira recalled to her boyfriend and sister. "It appears that the crystal can control her to summon out the invasion. I think it's because the crystal is so powerful to use." She then stared at the four floating orbs around the crystal. They were all different colors, pink, blue, green and white. They are glowing brightly as they circle around the orb. It is strange that Nebula never mentioned Shira about this.
