It was seven forty-five in the morning when Dan showed up at the penthouse. He was meant to pick Trixie up at eleven, but something had popped up and he needed to grab her earlier. He texted Chloe, but got no reply, so he just went over anyway.

The elevator dinged and he stepped out. The apartment was quite. Too quite. He wasn't very far into the room, but did a quick survey with his eyes not seeing anything.

Strange, he thought. He stepped farther into the penthouse, followed by hearing a sigh and a shift of covers. Looking closer at Lucifer's bed, he saw him and Chloe cuddled up. She had just rotated from hugging him to facing the other way and being pulled closer by Lucifer.

Dan gagged. He was happy she had found someone, but did not care to look at it. After seeing that though, a thought went through his mind.

"Where the hell is Trixie?" He muttered out loud quietly.

Once he was next to the couch he look around the apartment again and saw her. She was sprawled out on the L portion of the couch soundly asleep. A little pool of drool was collecting under where her mouth lay above her pillow. He smiled and walked over to her.

"Hey monkey, wake up."

Tapping her on her shoulder as he said so quietly. She woke up but when she realized someone was above her, she screamed before realizing it Dan.

"Jeez, dad what the hell! You scared me."

The commotion startled both Chloe and Lucifer. Chloe hopped out of bed and ran to the couch. Lucifer trailed behind her.

"Baby what's- Dan what are you doing here?"
"I texted you that I needed to pick her up early."
"It is barely eight in the morning."
"Good morning Dan, I see you've continued your streak of ruining things."
"Yeah it's great to see you too Lucifer."

Trixie was still pressed into the side of the couch, her heart rate was slowly calming from the scare earlier.

"Are you going to apologize for giving me a heartache?"
"I'm sorry Trix, for scaring you. However, you wanna explain what the word 'hell' is doing in your vocabulary?"

Trixie looked back and forth between her mom and Dan blushing slightly. She then shifted her gaze to Lucifer.

"Uh, nope can't help you with this one."

Trixie gave Lucifer a look before continuing.

"You guys use all the time. What's the big deal that I said it once?"

Dan and Chloe looked at each other unsure of how to answer. Lucifer piped up after a moment of awkwardness.

"Trix, why don't you go get ready to go. You can talk about this later once everyone's been awake for more than five minutes."
"You're only saying that because they don't have a good reason why I can't say hell."
"Maybe, but still."
"Fine."

Trixie got up to go get dressed and after she left Chloe leaned back into Lucifer and mouthed a 'thank you'.

"Okay well, while you two work out why she can't say hell, I'll make breakfast."

Trixie returned shortly after. By then Dan and Chloe were on the couch and motion for her to come sit with them.

"Okay monkey, your dad and I discussed and we've decided that we don't have a good reason as to why you can't say hell. So you can say it, in moderation. And also not at school."

Trixie grinned and then looked back at Lucifer who winked at her.

"Cool."

I referred to Dan as Dan and not her dad because Lucifer and Dan are kinda like dads to her so it's just easier this way. Also I'm choosing to ignore 5X15, so that's why Dan's here. Anyways, grammar, spelling, ideas!!!
