Big Bad Devil Boyfriend Who Just Wants To Be Held

"'But what do we do if the monster wakes up?' the duck said. 'Well,' replied the turtle, we'll just have to make a run for it.'"

Chloe closed the book she was reading.

"Alright monkey, we'll read chapter four tomorrow."
"Y'know, you guys don't have to read to me every night."
"You think this if for you, urchin? No, I need to know what happens to this duck."

They were all in Trixie's bed. A tight fit, but they made it work. Chloe on the left, Trixie in the middle, and Lucifer on the right. Trixie looked at Lucifer and shook her head.

"The duck will be fine, it's the turtle I'm worried about."
"All right you two, we can continue this conversation tomorrow. It's lights out time."

Chloe leaned over and kissed her daughters head before getting off the bed. Lucifer rubbed Trixie's head before following Chloe. They waved goodnight to Trixie before leaving her room.

Chloe walked over to one side of the couch and put her back up against the arm of it. She pulled out her phone before Lucifer came over and pulled it out of her hands.

"Wha- hey!"

After pulling the phone, Lucifer climbed to lay on top of Chloe. Chloe chuckled and wrapped one arm around his back, the other found his hair.

"What's wrong?"
"Nothings wrong. Sometime a devil wants to be cuddled."

Chloe laughed as she started playing with his hair. They sat there for a while, talking mindlessly about anything. After a while, Chloe's chest started hurting from the pressure there from Lucifer.

"Hey, can you sit up for a little bit? Just so I can breath again."
"Hang on."

Lucifer got up. But after doing so he pushed Chloe out of her spot, and sat down there. He opened his arms, and like a child saying 'gimme' he made a similar arm-hand motion. Chloe laughed and crawled to lay on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her the same way Chloe had around him.

"Yeah, this is much more comfortable than me holding you."
"I dont know, I quite enjoyed being held."
"Ah yes, my 'big bad devil boyfriend who just wants to be held.' I'll be sure to tell our next bad guy, if they give you a hug you'll back down."
"Oh shush."

Chloe laughed and Lucifer kissed the top of her head. Despite what her words said, she liked holding him, just as much as she liked being held. It showed a form of trust, and he also doubled as a human blanket. After a while they both fell asleep. It wasn't the most comfortable, but being in each others arms, comfort didn't matter.
