Deckerstar Oneshots: Book Two

I Forgot About That

Chloe woke up first in Lucifer's arms. This was the third time this week he had spent the night, and she had found the number to be constantly increasing. She rolled over to check her phone, but Lucifer pulled back on her waist to stop her.

"Lucifer, I need to check the time."
"Mmm, no."
"Mmm, yes."

She rolled out of his arms and grabbed her phone. Turning on her screen, her eyes went to the time on her phone.

"Shit."
"What? What's wrong?"
"We are gonna be so late."

She jumped out of bed and tore apart her closet trying to piece together some sort of outfit that looked good.

"What?"
"Yeah, we're supposed to leave in ten minutes."
"Crap."

Lucifer hopped out of bed, frantically putting his clothes on.

"Great, and I still need to go to the penthouse to put on some new clothes."

Chloe had ran to the bathroom to started her makeup.

"Go, I'll make up some excuse for you, I dont know what I'm gonna say about my lateness though."
"Okay, um who's taking Trixie to school?"
"Shit, I forgot about that."
"You know what, forget I asked about that, and don't even worry about it. I'll take her."
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'll just drop her off on my way to the penthouse. Besides, that should buy you enough time to, hopefully, make it to work on time."
"Oh my gosh you're the best!"

Lucifer had walked into the bathroom during this conversation. Chloe looked at him and kissed him quickly before turning back to continue her makeup. After Lucifer had put his things together, her ran over to Trixie's room to knock on her door.

"Ready?"
"Yeah I-"

Trixie looked up from her phone and looked Lucifer up and down. She let out a laugh before stopping herself.

"I think the better question is are you ready?"
"I don't need your sass right now, I need to drop you off at school so I can stop by the penthouse to change before work."
"That seems like a lot of effort. Why don't you just move in with us. That would make mornings less hectic."
"Well I-, I don't know. Give me one second."

Lucifer ran back over to the bathroom.

"Hey, did you forget something?"
"No. What if I moved in?"
"What?"
"Well Trixie brought up a good point. If I moved in, mornings would go a lot smoother. I mean I already spend half the week here. Why don't I just just move in?"

Chloe looked at him and smiled softly.

"Okay."
"Okay?"
"Yeah. Okay. I think you moving in would be great."

Lucifer smiled and kissed Chloe one last time before grabbing Trixie and leaving the house.
