I sat on the couch beside Kentrell as he held a crying Journey, Kulture and Khari. Today we would be leaving to go on our vacation. These three were real daddy babies.
"Hey me and daddy have to get going." Desire would be watching them here with Chris. I wasn't worrying because Desire was a good babysitter and Chris would get to spend time with his kids.
"Hey do you guys want ice cream?" Desire asked with a smile and they nodded.
"Well you guys have to stop crying ok. Mommy and daddy have somewhere to go, but I promise they'll be back. But now you're going to have fun with Dessi." She cheered while wiping their tears.
She picked up Kulture before grabbing Ja'Khari's hand. Journey continued to hold onto Kentrell making me laugh.
"Pretty." I rubbed her back.
"Shhh." Kentrell said.
"She sleep?" He nodded carefully getting up.
"All that crying done put her ass right to sleep." Not only that but the medicine she takes makes her sleepy so she's drowsy all day everyday. But it's helping, she has to take 2 bottles and when their all gone she's good to go.
"I'll be right back." I nodded and he took her upstairs.
"Are you and daddy leaving mommy?" Javani asked while drawing.
"Yeah, we'll be back though." She nodded, the twins and Jalyn have grown to learn to call Kentrell daddy and Chris by just Chris. I didn't tell them too they just did it, I could tell it would hurt Chris but it wasn't their fault. Kentrell was their since day 1.
"I hope you guys have fun." Jalyn said Kassian sat on his lap playing with his toys.
"Thank you baby, take care of your brothers and sisters." He nodded.
Kentrell came back down the stairs and I smiled.
"Ready?" He nodded and we both gave the kids one last kiss.
"And Love y'all! Have fun!" Desire smiled.
"Same, keep my babies safe."
"Of course." Kentrell grabbed things and we left out the house. He put my stuff in the car with his and I got in. He got in too before driving away.
"Hungry?"
"Nah I ate already." He nodded before grabbing my hand.
"We gon have a good time?" I nodded my head with a smile.
