"You nervous?" I looked up at my mother and sister. I nodded and a tear rolled down my face. Today was me and Kentrell's wedding day. This was real, he was about to be my husband and I was about to be his wife. I was a nervous wreck, what if this doesn't work out?
"Don't cry love, you look beautiful. Today is about you and Kentrell. I don't want to see any tears unless they're of joy." I nodded and my mother used her thumb to gently pat my tears away so she wouldn't mess up my makeup. I didn't have on much because I didn't do that, I liked my natural and so did my man.
"What if our marriage doesn't work out?"
"Oh gosh, you're such an over thinker. Baby everything is going to be fine. Don't worry about the what if. Just let life fall into place." Jonnie said.
"Ok." She applied lipgloss to my lips and then the door open.
"Hey mommy." Javani smiled while holding Kulture's hand.
"Hey baby, y'all look beautiful." I smiled and Journey came in behind them.
"Really mama?" It looked like she had already spilled something on her dress, and she had blue stuff all over her mouth.
"Daddy gave her candy because she wouldn't stop crying." Javani said and I looked at my mama.
"I got it, come on princesses." She picked up Journey before leaving out the room with my girls.
Jonnie's phone started ringing and I got a glimpse of who it was.

He was this guy she was talking to, been talking to for a minute. Their relationship was kinda.....ehhh. I didn't know how to explain it but it seemed fake like. As if something was wrong and a front was being put up in public.
"You ok Jonnie?" I asked seeing the look on her face. She declined the call before looking at me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She smiled.
"Sure-"
"It's your day Javen." I sighed.
"I still want to make sure you're ok."
"I am, trust. You look beautiful." I stood up looking in the big mirror and she ran her fingers through my curls.
"Ass is really showing!" I laughed before turning to the side. I started to twerk while she hyped me up.
"Fuck y'all got going on in here?!"
"Oh my go-" Jonnie quickly covered my eyes.
"He got a blindfold on girl shut up." I heard daddy say. Me and Kentrell weren't suppose to see each other yet.
