~Haruomi's P.O.V~
It's late and I just got back from the studio. It was a long day of work but thankfully we saved all of our progress. Nice to know that we won't have to spend the night there again. I made myself dinner after changing my clothes from a nice shower. I cleaned my place after dinner and took a rest. I'll have the day for myself tomorrow. It's summer.

I woke up the next day and I feel like I had a decent rest. "The sun's shines bright today." I looked outside my window while enjoying my coffee. Quite nice if I say so myself. I changed my clothes after getting ready for the day. I looked outside my window again and thought, 'Nice day for a walk.'. I've decided and walked to my door. I grabbed an umbrella just in case.

On a white country road
The dusty breeze stands still
I drop down to the floor with a bump,
as some kids playing marbles

Summer breeze hit my face just after I stepped outside. The wind carries the sun's heat now. It has replaced the coziness of the sakura. A nice thing to start the summer when I heard guitar strumming. I didn't realize I slipped while walking. I must've not noticed the kids playing marbles while I was listening to the strumming.

Shine-shine, glitter-glitter
Well, it's the sun
Shine-shine, glitter-glitter
Well, it's the summer

The marbles were sparkling. The kids apologized for playing on the sidewalk and I told them it's fine. I stood while watching them continue playing. The sun's shine glistens whenever the marbles are flicked and rolled. 'It's summer.' I smiled at the thought and continue walking. I don't have any specific place to go so I might aimlessly walking.

The deep green of the shrine grove
A solemn silence has fallen
An old tearoom
Someone swings from the store front

Chirp-chirp
It's the voice of the cicadas
Chirp-chirp
Well, it's summer

I continued walking until I passed an old building. I stopped to look and the place has been abandoned for quite some time. The vines that overgrew made me think that something—no, someone swinging behind the store's front window. I turned over my shoulder and quickly realized it was the cicadas singing. 'They always buzz when it's hot.'. I thought it was the wind sweeping through my ears. The sun was scorching and my umbrella spun when I opened it. "I'm bored..."

Parasol spinning, and I'm bored
Parasol spinning, and I'm bored

Chasing stitches in the sky
And when I cross some paving stones
A summer shower
Comes along with it

Kites were flying in the sky, their tails fluttered by the wind. I wondered why it was dark all of the sudden then it started pouring. I was glad that I had my umbrella up. People were taking shelter from the rain, couples enjoying their drink in cafés, or just waiting for the rain to pass. Umbrellas spun when people opened them and I'm bored.

Worry-worry, fluffy-fluffy
Big summer rainclouds
Worry-worry, fluffy-fluffy
Well, it's summer

Parasol spinning, and I'm bored
Parasol spinning, and I'm bored

A.N : Hey, guys! I made this chapter for the start of summer. I've been wanting to write this for a while and I finally did it. The lyrics I put is an English translation of Happy End's song, "Natsu Nandesu" or as the title says, "Tis' The Summer". I found it on a comment section in YouTube while I was listening to a vid of Happy End's best tracks. I couldn't be more thankful to found it and when I read it, I thought that it would make a nice story. Go check out Happy End. The band only has three albums but the songs are lovely and I hope you enjoyed them like you enjoyed this chapter! RD out!! Boi!!!
