Yukihiro invited you to help him recording in the studio today but there's just one problem... he forgot to tell you which room. You already arrived and asked the front desk if Yukihiro arrived first. She said that he hasn't and she only told you which floor the room Yuki usually use, assuming that you already know.
The lift dinged and you walked out after the door opened. "Let's see which one is it..." you walked around trying to guess which one. There are some locked doors which you didn't dare to try to open then you found an oddly unlocked door. You thought it was the right one and you opened the door.
"May I help you?". "Ah! I'm sorry!" you were startled when you saw a man in the room. He had medium wavy hair and he was wearing blue shirt with white pants and shoes. The room wasn't the one Yuki use and it seems the man is by himself. "I got in the wrong room." You chuckled in embarrassment. The man asked again if he can help you and you told him you were looking for Yuki's usual room. "It's down the hall, third door on the left." He gave you the direction.
"I tried the door but it's locked." You informed and thanked him anyway. "Yukihiro-kun isn't with you?" you shook your head and the man offered you to wait for Yuki in the room with him. "Thank you." You went inside and sat down after he permitted you. "I'm Shigeru Suzuki by the way." Shigeru shared his name and you shared yours then the two of you shook hands. "Are you recording something too, Shigeru-san?" you asked.
Shigeru answered that he was just spending his time and review the tracks he made. "Oh, yeah! You were in Happy End." You remembered something familiar from his name and he confirmed. "Do you like the band?" he asked. "The album was fun to listen to!" you excitedly answered. "But I have to complain that you only have little space in the albums while your bandmates took most of it." you added with a huff.
"You must be talking about Ohtaki-san. That was how we do!" Shigeru's eyes curved to a smile and you giggled. "Are you a friend of Yukihiro-kun?". "Y-yeah! We're jamming buddies." He softly giggled from your sudden fluster. Shigeru then asked if you can play any instruments and you told him that you can play keyboard and bass. "Why do you ask?". "How about we try play a song together? If you like." He offered. "I guess I can try." You half answered.
Shigeru took it as a yes and he walked to the controls to set up the track he had in mind. He took his guitar and bass and lent it to you. You placed the bass on your lap and you asked, "Which song are we playing, Shigeru-san?". "It's from my Lagoon album. It's called 'Lady Pink Panther'." He explained. You told him that you never heard the track before and he reassured you that you'll follow along just fine.
The instrumental started playing after Shigeru pressed play and he sang while playing the guitar. You followed along with the basslines

The song ended and you couldn't help but blushing from the lyrics. "See? I told you that you'll do fine." Said Shigeru with a smile, seemingly oblivious with the room. "T-thanks! The song was cute too." You gave your comment and returned the bass. Then the two of you suddenly heard the door opened and it was Yukihiro. "(y/n)-chan! There you are!" he sounded concerned.
You waved to Yukihiro with a slight awkward smile and he greeted Shigeru when Yuki saw him. "Hello, Suzuki-san. Nice to see you here." Shigeru nodded with a smile and Yuki thanked him for looking after you. "It was nothing really." You giggled after Shigeru. Yuki then told you to move out and you asked if Shigeru can join too. "You don't have to, (y/n)-chan." Shigeru politely declined.
"It'll be much more fun! And the more the merrier!" you happily gave your reasons and Shigeru gave in. The three of you moved to the other room and helped with Yuki's album recording.
A.N : Oops! I gave Suzuki more space than Takahashi himself XD I'm still in the "remaining Happy End members" phase but at least I gave Takahashi an appearance here. I couldn't find a younger version pic of Suzuki and Takahashi so just imagine it they look younger when the pic was taken and I don't want to link any more vids from Youtube.
