What if Masahiko Amakasu didn't pull the trigger when he heard the Emperor's announcement of defeat on the radio? What if he instead ran away from the ministry house in Tianjin? What if he ran away with someone even the Eastern Jewel had no idea who? From those questions, running away is exactly what he did.

"Amakasu-san! Come back!" Eastern Jewel shouted from Amakasu's office with her gun on her hand. "Bring him back!" she fired some shots at the woman running with Amakasu. The woman is Talia Lee, Amakasu's secretary and secret lover. They exited the building and hopped on a car then escaped Tianjin before the Russians captured them. Both of them arrived at an unoccupied town and decided to hide there for a short time.

"We're safe here. For now." Said Amakasu to Talia. His voice was worried but he tried his best to reassure his love. Talia is an eastern descendant born in England. She went to Japan to study but was assigned with military duties when the first war broke. Talia enrolled as a typist and journalist, collecting and broadcasting reports about the war.

After the first war ended, Talia was relieved of her duties and went out to find another job. She applied to every job that fits with her experience. For a few months, Talia didn't get any replies until one day she received a letter from a former lieutenant, Masahiko Amakasu. Talia was beyond grateful when the letter she read was an acceptance letter as Amakasu's secretary. She passed the interview and got hired but with one condition. Talia must not be seen by others, even from Amakasu's inner circle.

Her first days of work was more of Amakasu's personal assistant due to his disability and she did do official paper works too. Talia mostly spent her time in Amakasu's place though sometimes he invited her along to some meetings. At first, it was just all about professionalism but as time goes on, Talia soon realized that her care for her superior found its way to her heart. She thinks it was unprofessional of her to feel such things and she feared that if she made a mistake in any kind, she would be fired.

Talia became too conscious of her actions that every time she made a small mistake, she would run to her room and carved a line on her arm. It went undetected for a while since she always wearing long sleeve tops but the first secret didn't last long. Talia was doing her usual task as Amakasu's personal assistant and she only made a small mistake on doing her duties.

Amakasu noticed it and Talia quickly ran to her room and carved another line. He finally noticed her strange behavior and went to check on her. The door wasn't locked and he was surprised to see after the door opened. "What are you doing?!" his voice was between confused and concerned. "Ama-sama!" Talia was scared and started tearing up. Amakasu went to get the first air and went back to Talia's room to tend her carvings.

Talia also help tend her injuries and Amakasu asked why she did such things. Talia confessed and Amakasu accepted her confession but he couldn't return it. 'Not now' he thought.

Things were getting a bit tense for Talia when she came along to Tianjin. She made a small acquaintance with the empress but she was much closer with the princess and when Eastern Jewel set foot, Talia knew that she had a rival when she confessed to Amakasu and he accepted it.

"Let's get out of here! We can start a new together!" Amakasu woke up from his sleep. 'It's already morning...' he thought to himself when he saw the light shining through the window crack. Talia found some clothes when they arrived last night. The place isn't quite as much as the ministry house but it's sufficient enough for them. "Good morning." Talia finally woke up and greeted. "Is there anything wrong?" she asked. "Nothing. I just had a bad dream." Amakasu answered with a reassuring smile. Both of them didn't bother to get breakfast and quickly change their clothes.

They left the place and went to the nearest port. Luckily, a cargo ship was scheduled to sail. After some reasoning, Talia and Amakasu were permitted to got on the ship and smuggle themselves out of the country. It took a week and a few days until the ship reached the northern part of one of Indonesia's main island. The island of Sulawesi. Both of them decided to disembark and fled to the village near the capitol of the province.

Talia adapted quite fast with the place and she even mastered the local language as well as the main language while Amakasu struggled a little but he made some progress. After a while, the two found a job suited for them. Talia worked as a teacher while Amakasu continued his occupation as a professional photographer. It didn't take long for them to get married and they never left the place ever since.

A.N : Hey, guys! Sorry for the delay again... Got busy with campaign preparations for my community and one of the head division is really driving me nuts! Anyway... I wanted to try something different so I included my other OC in this book! If any of you ever watched the movie before... Ryuichi Sakamoto was dang hot as Masahiko Amakasu.
