Once we were about to walk into the penthouse, I stepped in front of the door so Ally couldn't unlock it. I used my body as a barrier and kept a straight face. "Ok, so we aren't going anywhere until I get some damn answers."
Dinah took the tootsie pop out of her mouth and laughed, "What're you talking 'bout, Lil Mama?"
"Someone said they have good news for me and I've been waiting to hear it ever since the hospital. So, someone better talk now or we aren't going in." I threatened them. Lauren smirked and walked in front of me to wrap her arms carefully around the lower part of my waist and pick me up to move me out of the way. I smacked her arm once she put me down, "Thanks a lot, Lo." I frowned.
"No problem, girl." Lauren chuckled as we followed the rest of the girls into the house.
I threw my bags down in the living room and pulled out my phone in a huff plopping down on the couch. Which I noticed it was a lot easier to do now that I didn't have a metal bar indented into my person.

I unlocked it to see a new text from Zendaya.

Zendaya: so are u in LA or am I gonna have to finally drag U here?

Y/N: you're very persistent aren't u?

Zendaya: if I wasn't then how could I make it where I am today? like YOU WILL BE SOON!

Y/N: I highly doubt that. I've stopped trending. Thank god

Zendaya: but have u seen your followers on Instagram & Twitter? you're almost to 1mil. I'm sure you'll be good in the talent & looks department ;) js

"Who ya texting, babe?" Camila asked twisting her cap on top of her juice and sitting down beside me.
I started typing again as I replied to her, "Zendaya Coleman."
Camila quickly grabbed my phone and started scrolling through Zendaya's and my messages. Her eyes widened with each flick of the screen, almost bulging out of her head. I tried to reach for it and she pulled it away then yelled for Dinah.
The youngest girl shuffled into the room confused, "Mila! Don't yell like that, you scared me."
Camila flared her nostrils, "Tell Zendaya to stop texting my girlfriend."
I was upset, "What the fuck? No. We are just friends. I don't have many of them since you don't like my friends anyways."
Dinah groaned and took out her phone. I got up and snatched it from her before she could move forward in the process. "Gimme my phone back, now."
I shook my head, "No. Don't fucking listen to Camila. What the hell? Why would you tell your friend to leave me alone?"
"It's none of your business, y/n." Dinah exclaimed finally reaching for her phone and pulling it away to flick through the screen.
I gave Camila a death glare, "She's your friend too, babe. What the fuck? Why can't I be friends with her? Hell, why can't I be friends with anyone without you stopping complete contact?"
"She's not my friend anymore." Camila retorted. "There's a reason for that. She's everyone else's but not mine, and I don't want you to be associated with her."
I just stood in front of her baffled, "When did you start to not like her? I'm so tired of this drama. Let me have friends."
"You have friends." Camila pushed her wavy mane to one side of her head in aggravation.
I rolled my eyes, "Oh wow. Five people. That really makes me feel better."
"I take offense to that!" Lauren yelled from her room.
"Me too!" Normani joined in.
Dinah walked out of the bathroom and asked in a confused tone, "What happened?" She was so lost.
I groaned, "Ugh. Jesus Christ, I'm tired of having to play the kid all the time." I swiped my phone from Camila's hand and put it in my back pocket. Then I grabbed my leather jacket from the coat hanger, which I'm guessing Ally put it there, and and slipped it on. "I'm out."
Camila rushed up from the couch and grabbed my arm, "Where are you going?"
I roughly pulled away and glared at her, "I need some air. I'll be back later."
I hurried to slam the door before she could run after me and try to make me stay. I don't understand what could be so bad that Camila has to push everyone out of my life.
