I felt shivers run down my spine as the creepy credit music played. Lily shot up from her seat, lightly shaking. "Man that was something!" She sighed as she stretched.

Keith and Pico stood up next, Lily pulled Keith closer to her. "Have fun dealing with my ass tonight..." she patted his shoulder and they walked out of the isle with Keith laughing behind her.

I smiled at them, seeing Pico turn to me with one of his own. "Come on piss-baby. Lets get out of here." I nodded and stood up, looking down to see him hold his hand out.

I blushed a little and grabbed it, having him nod in approval and pull me lightly back to the car with Lily and Keith.

And that's when we went home.

Everyone went to their rooms. I scavenged through my bag and pulled out a jacket and sweatpants. Getting changed, I thought about my new life here.

"I mean... I am very lucky." I mumbled to myself. Looking at my ceiling. "I have new friends, a new home... and I have Pico too." I smiled to myself. Feeling a blush reach my cheeks again, making me cover my eyes.

'You know what.' I thought, standing back up. Heading towards Pico's room across from mine, I hesitated at the door. 'It's about time I tell him...'

I took a deep breath and gripped the doorknob.

Pico's POV-

I tossed a stress ball up and down, not thinking much of it.

I furrowed my brows. 'That fucking...' I groaned, catching the ball and then tossing it to the floor. 'I can't get that damn look out of my head...' I rubbed my face.

"Hey, Pico?" I jumped like a fucking cat, eyes shooting towards the door to see   Y/n standing there.

I took a deep breath and smiled. "H-hey, what are you doing in here?" I asked.

She simply pointed to my bed and I nodded.

Once she sat down, she turned to me. "I..." she looked at my wall. "I need to tell you something." My eyes widened slightly, nodding.

"I have-" she cut herself off. "Look, this can't damage our friendship, okay?" She whispered.

"Of course." I stated sternly.

"I like you." She blurted. "Like... love you..." Well shit.

Y/n POV-

We stared at each other, me sweating more as the seconds go by.

I watched his face tense than relax. He looked down. "Look Y/n, we're good friends and all." I smiled sadly. "But I don't feel the same." He grabbed both my hands. Gripping tightly. "I don't want to ruin our friendship either." I nodded.

"That's fine if you don't feel the same." I said with confidence.

He let go of me and covered his mouth, diverting his gaze.

"I think..." he mumbled. "I-i think it's best for you t-to leave..." he stated.

I gave him a quick hug, in which he froze. His breath caught, making me let go. "Goodnight Pico." And without meeting my gaze, I left the room. I chuckled to myself as I walked back into mine. Closing the door.

Plopping onto my mattress, I looked at the ceiling once again. My smile never left as tears streamed down my face. Making me laugh sadly to myself.
