That next day we went to packing, Lily went to help her parents as I did her room.

I smiled at the memories shared through her various pictures, pausing to find one of herself and two boys. One with blue hair and the other....

I had to chuckle at the irony of the ginger I met earlier next to her. "I wonder what he's really like..." deciding to ignore the thought, I packed it with all the others. Then moving on to everything else.

Time skip-

I stood up, admiring my packing skills in silence. Wiping the sweat off my forehead, I turned towards the doorway at the sound of footsteps to be greeted by Lily.

"Hey! Man you finished quick." She looked at the various boxes littering the floor. And with a content sigh she looked back to me. "Well, father decrees that we leave in the morning at this rate." I nodded and rested my hands on my hips. "Also, two friends of mine are coming with." I paused for a second. Remembering the photo.

"Thats fine. When will I meet these so called friends?" I smiled. She went silent for a moment.

"Well, you can drive with one of them if thats okay." She shrugged. I raised a brow at her. "One of these friends and I might be...." she shifted her weight nervously.

I stared, my eyes wide and my mouth open. "Oh shut up!" I laughed historically. "You're saying we don't talk for a month or so and you find yourself a man?" She hid her face and laughed alongside me.

Finally catching our breath, lily continued. "Yes, thank you very much." She pouted.

"Fine, I'll hitchhike with your friend while you get some boy time~" I teased. To which she punched my arm.

We spent that night binge watching shity romance shows on Lily's phone.

Then the day of the move came.

Time skip-

"And that's the last of it." Lily's mother said. All of us relieved that the packing was done.

And just in time as well. We all quieted down as a white mini van came in the garage. Followed by a black car. Then hopped out the red head, and the kid with blue hair.

"Lily!" The blue haired guy ran and gave lily a hug. In which she returned.

"Hey Keith, Pico!" She leaned back to give Pico a hug as well.

'So Pico is his name.' I smiled and walked over to the trio. Standing next to lily I waved at the two. "Hey guys. I'm Y/n." I looked Pico up and down. "Nice to see you... again." Remembering that this stranger seems to be the only one who knows about my injuries beside Lily. I tried to retain my annoyance.

Him on the other hand, couldn't contain his disgust in the matter. "Pleasure is all mine." He and I glared until Lily came between us.

"Um... you two know each other?" She gestured to the two of you. We both nodded. "Well that makes things awkward...." she rested her hand on the bridge of her nose. "You two are riding together, while Keith and I take the mini van." She laughed nervously.

I went to protest, but Pico did for me. "Lily, I request literally any other option." He shot me another glare. "Pardon but I'd rather not ride with... her." I stuck my tongue out at him.

Lily's father walked on over, his smile wide as ever. And placed a hand on Pico and my shoulders. "Now kiddos, lets put aside our differences." I rolled my eyes. "Now everyone get into your vehicles and let's kick this pig." He chuckled to himself, getting into his car with his wife.

Lily took Keith's hand and waved us two goodbye, quickly hopping in the van. Leaving Pico and I alone.

"You drive." I stated, getting in the car. Not even bothering to look as Pico buckled himself in, and started the car.

And then we left.

And let me tell you. Its only been a few hours and we were already pissing each other off.

"I told you, driver picks the music." He groaned as he changed the station.

I smiled and turned it back to my choice. "Ladies first, did your mom ever teach you manners?" He slapped my hand away.

"Its the fucking fourth station you've gone through, I can pick one." I crossed my arms and looked forward. Letting him finally pick what he wanted.

"Fine, but after a few songs I'm picking." I stated.

I pulled my sleeves down and pulled my legs up to my chest, wrapping my arms around them.

"By the way," Pico started, giving me a side glance. "I do apologize if that question at the store offended you. I was genuinely curious." I looked at him, then buried my face into my arms.

"I appreciate it, but don't mention what you saw to anyone." I mumbled. I could see him nod from the corner of my eye.

"Hey, were at our first pit stop." He smiled.

"Thank fucking God."
