That night I couldn't get myself to sleep. Instead, I knocked on Lily's door quietly. Hearing her answer, she came out with me, leaving Keith so he could rest. I talked to her about it.

"And that's what happened." I sighed, looking at my wall. Lily sighed with me and wrapped an arm around me.

"It's okay, it's not your fault." She smiled, and I smiled back. Not wanting to look desperate for comfort. "Maybe it's just too soon?"

I turned to her. "You think?" I whispered. Making her nod enthusiastically.

I rubbed my temples harshly. "Look, Lily I'm sorry for waking you up for this crap." I mumbled.

She punched my arm with a giggle. "Dude you're good, besides. What are friends for if not to help each other out?" I stared at her wide eyed.

At that one question, I smiled wide as tears streamed down my face. Giving her a hug. She jumped but hugged me back.

Lily's POV-

The hug lasted way longer than I thought it would. "Y/n?" I tried to lean back, but she leaned on me.

I heard a soft snore as I held in a giggle. I carefully laid her back down on her bed and covered her in a blanket.

Walking to the door I looked back at her. "Pico... you really fucked up." I sighed and left.

Y/n POV-

I woke up the next morning to someone shaking me.

Rubbing my eyes I looked up to see Keith. Who had a finger over his mouth, pointing to the door.

I raised a brow but nodded, then he dragged me outside. "Keith, it's to early for this sh-" I started. But stopped as I saw his face relax with sad eyes.

"Look, I heard about last night." He said. "And Lily and I both think that some things don't really add up." He mumbled to himself mostly. "But we wanted to make it up to you." He smiled wide.

I folded my arms uncomfortably and agreed to whatever they had planned this time.

Lily skipped over to us and told me to get dressed, and I did just that.

The house was weirdly quite. I threw on some shorts and a tank, and went back out. Then Lily and I headed out.

Keith's POV-

I waved to Lily and Y/n as they drove out of the driveway. Then heading back inside to Pico's room, only to see him snoring like a pig.

I looked around his room and found a stress ball and threw it at his head. Making him shoot awake.

"The fuck man..." he grumbled and buried his head into a pillow.

I walked to him and grabbed his ankles. "Get. You're. Ass. Up." I grunted as I pulled him until he hit the floor. "Meet me outside after you get dressed." I rolled my eyes and stepped over him, walking outside.

"Okay, what?" He rubbed his face tiredly, giving me a stare.

"You and I are going out, just us two." I elbowed him and started walking, motioning for him to follow.

He hesitated, but followed anyways. "What's this about?" He asked. I shrugged. Making him dead pan.

"I'm pretty sure you know." I put my hands behind my back.

"You heard about it didn't you?" He growled. In which I nodded. "But how? It was only the two of us up." It was my turn to dead pan.

"Are you brain dead?" I asked. "Y/n went to Lily, and Lily went to me. Simple as that."

Pico's eyes widened slightly but immediately turned away. "Where are they?" He mumbled. I looked down to see him wrap his arms around himself. 'Knew it.'

"Lily took her out." I simply said.

Pico opened his mouth to talk, but decided against it.

"You do care about her don't you?" I smiled sadly. Making him look at me, at a loss of words. Furrowing his eyebrows with a frown.

Y/n POV-

I looked out the window awkwardly awaiting the silence to break somehow.

"Sorry for the wait," the lady said kindly. 'Oh thank god.' I thought to myself as she placed our drinks. "Are you two ready to take your order?" She smiled.

Liky looked to me and winked. "Yes ma'am. Y/n?" I hesitated a nod.

We placed our orders as the waitress wrote them down.

As she was about to leave Lily pulled her aside. When they were talking, Lily pointed back to me. Which had me even more confused.

The waitress patted her shoulder with a nod, and then left.

Lily walked back to the table with a look of victory. "What was that?" I asked.

"Oh just a little something we worked out." She said as she sat down. I leaned my head on my hand, rolling my eyes with sarcasm.

Time skip-

A little while later, I see the lady coming over with our meals and... a F/d? (favorite dessert 🍨)

"Here are your meals, and miss Y/n?" I nodded. "Heres your dessert, happy birthday miss." She winked and set it on the table. And she walked away.

I looked to a smirking Lily. "Happy birthday Y/n." She sang.

"But its not my bi-" she hushed me and scooted my dessert closer to me.

"Its the thought that counts hon. Now enjoy it while it lasts." She giggled. And I couldn't help but giggle with her.
