Lily's POV-

I closed the door to Keith's room and ran back down the hallway.

Once I re-entered Pico's room I went to the center of the floor. Picking up his gun i looked around, not seeing him anywhere. My eyes widened at the open, cracked window.

I grit my teeth and stole some of Y/n's jeans and top and put them on with my own jacket. Putting the gun in my pocket. Stomping to Keith and i's room I opened the door.

"Y/n, Keith, get in the fucking car." They stared wide eyed but I was already outside.

While waiting. I started the car and pulled out my phone.

Ring.... Ring..... Click.

"Honey? What is it?" I sighed put of frustration.

"Mom, get dad." I looked out the front window to see Y/n and Keith start their way to the car. "I think Pico's been taken."

Y/n POV-

I looked at Keith out of surprise, him looking the same. We both shot up from the bed and scrambled to get better clothes on. Then speed walking to the car.

I shivered at Lily's look as she hung up the phone. "Lily what the literal fuck is happening?" I shouted as I hopped in back. Once again, Keith in front.

"No time to talk." She blurted and sped us out onto the road.

Keith was frozen in front, and I don't blame him. I'm practically shaking back here alone.

Time skip-

Lily slammed her door shut and walked out into the abandoned parking lot near downtown and walked towards her parents car, where they did the same.

"Okay, if lily isn't telling us anything, AND her parents are here, somethings wrong." Keith observed. I nodded in agreement.

We both ran towards them, gripping my jacket as the wind acted up.

"What happened." Lily's father grabbed her hands as she shook.

"I have no idea. Y/n and I just got home..." she thought for a second. Then whipped towards Keith. "KEITH." She shouted. Making us all jump.

I really started to panic as her skin turned a very light purple, then back to normal. "You have ONE second to explain what the fuck happened!" She grabbed his jacket.

Keith's breath hiccuped and he looked at her hand that had a hold on him.

In return, he took a deep breath and explained. "Look, Pico and I got into an argument and went home, then straight to our rooms. That's the last I heard of him." He gently removed her hand from him. Then he grabbed both of her hands. "What happened?" He asked softly.

Lily started to cry, looking to the floor. "I-i have no idea. I walked into his room and his gun was on the floor." She took one of her hands and passed it through her hair. "The window was cracked and opened. And he wasn't there." She leaned on Keith and tried to calm down.

I saw her skin completely turn back to normal. I put a hand over my mouth.

He let go of me and covered his mouth, diverting his gaze.

"I think..." he mumbled. "I-i think it's best for you t-to leave..." he stated.

I stood there, trying to not freak out. "M-maybe its a joke?" I asked. But even i knew that wasn't very likely.

Lily's mother came to me and held me to her side. "Hon." She turned to her husband. "Get everyone looking." In which he nodded. And went back to their car. She gripped my shoulders and rocked me back and forth.

Time skip-

That whole day we searched everywhere. And soon days went by... then weeks... and soon, it was about two months after the event.

And still no sign of Pico.

At this point, I packed all my shit and got my own apartment. And then slowly lost contact with anyone.

And that leads to today.

I started some old habits. Crying more than I didn't. Grocery wise, just a box of crackers and some bottles of water. And one six pack.

I started doing more reading. Nothing too interesting. But TV didn't really perk my interest.

I mean, sometimes I'd blast music. But that's it. Lily still texts me now and then. But learned not to call.

I looked outside of my large window, with a sigh I put on a hoodie that I snuck from Pico's room and grabbed my phone. Then headed to my new safe spot.

I smiled sadly at the graffiti and colored lights of the train tracks. I took my spot at the wall Pico and I sat at a while back.

I know we never got extremely close. But it hurts more than losing my own blood... my dad.

With a chuckle, I put in ear buds and watched the trains pass through. Bopping my head to my music.
