Happy Birthday Indeed
"This is borderline self destruction and happiness." Xenon commented which made me laugh.
I know right.
"But this is what you want. Which turned out to be what I also wanted. So we're in this together." I replied back.
He sighed heavily. "Be careful of what you wish for talaga, 'no?"
"Indeed." I shrug. "But happiness comes with risks, kaya..." Pabiro ko siyang nginisian. "Stop pretending though. I know you're all principled but you like it as well."
Nahihiya niyang tinakpan ang mukha. He even looked away which made me gasp in amusement.
"No way! You're shy?!" I exclaimed. Lalo niyang tinakpan ang mukha.
"Flaire naman..." Nahihiya niyang reklamo.
Natawa ako ng malakas. Damn! He really likes this!
"You like this, right? I know you do!" I pushed his buttons more.
"Oo na. Oo na. Okay na ba? Gusto ko rin 'to!" He glared at me, hoping for me to stop teasing him but I did not.
We're currently in Singapore. Yes, loud and clear. Paano? First of all, I don't know what has gotten to Xenon. A day before his birthday, which was ehem, yesterday, he suddenly jumped up from sitting on the couch while we were watching morning news about Singapore's amusement park.
He was crazy but I didn't think this crazy.
"Let's go to Singapore!" Excited niyang sigaw and that's how we got here.
Out of everything, Singapore was such a random thought.
"What? Why Singapore?" I gasped because of his sudden idea. "Xenon, hindi ka pa ba napupunta dun? I mean, damn. A day before your birthday?"
He was laughing while I was here, freaking out because of his crazy antics! Oh my gosh! 1 day preparation for Singapore? Sinong baliw ang magbabalak ng ganun?!
Definitely not me! But my boyfriend!? Definitely!
"I've been there but I wanted to go with you." He hugged me tight. "Thank the news for this idea!" He grinned.
Ngumiwi ako. I don't know if I should be thankful or just strangle the TV instead.
"Seryoso ka ba?"
"Spontaneous right?" He smirked. "Surprise!"
What the fudge! I did not expect this!
"This is beyond spontaneous! Malay ko bang ibang bansa? I thought dito lang sa isla?"
He kissed my cheeks. Napapikit ako sa higpit ng yakap niya sa akin. "Kaya nga spontaneous. Hindi ko rin inakala,"
He was laughing his ass out while I was still in a daze.
"Is this a mistake or you intended for this to happen?" I asked Xenon in the present time.
We're in our hotel room. Kakapasok lang namin. And this is not what I expected. Our hotel is somewhere in Mount Elizabeth. It has easy access to Orchard Road and also to transportation.
But right now, that was out of my head.
We're stuck in a freaking room. Let me rephrase that. In a one bed freaking room.
Nabitawan ko ang hawak na luggage. I almost turned and strangled Xenon against the door but my icy glare just stayed on him.
Kung kanina, masaya pa akong inaasar siya, ngayon nanumbalik ang dahilan kung bat ganun ang naging reaksyon niya.
