Beep beep beep

The sound of his alarm entered Jisung's dreamworld and forcefully pulled him out of it. He turned to the side where the sound was coming from, groaning with still closed eyes searching his phone. After he turned the alarm off, he sank back into his sheets, sighing.

It was the first day of school after six weeks of summer holidays and he didn't want to go back. Besides the fact that he hated school, just as most students, it was also his first day of 11th class, meaning that now everything he did was important for his graduation. Connected to that was so much stress Jisung couldn't handle.

The sun fell through the window and tingled his nose.

As he laid there, enjoying the warm feeling of the sun shining on his face, something made itself known on his back. It was a pull. First soft then getting stronger. Jisung, sadly, was used to this. To prepare himself, he wanted to open his eyes, but it was already too late for that. He was being pulled back into a so called trigger.

He could feel that he was still tugged into his bed –of course, triggers only happened, when the situation was somehow similar to a future situation together with his soulmate– but different to him a few moments ago, he felt comfortable. He could smell coffee and felt a person sitting next to him on the bed. He could hear the sweet tone of the person -they were probably talking- but Jisung couldn't figure out what the person was saying. Just as before the sun fell onto his face tingling his nose. Jisung smiled. This was nice. Then he was pulled into darkness.

His mother sat next to him on the bed the next time he awoke.

"Did you get triggered?", she asked. "Seems like it, don't you think?", Jisung chuckled, hiding that he was still feeling dizzy. She mustered him with a worried look before standing up. "I need to go to work and you also gotta get up now, it's late." Jisung nodded and slowly stood up to hug his mom. "Bye, have fun at work. We'll see each other later", he smiled and his mother smiled back. "See you later, Sweetie. Be careful." She gave him a kiss on the cheek before turning to leave.

It took him another five minutes before the dizziness was completely gone. Then Jisung quickly changed. He had forgotten to pick out some clothes the evening before so he just kinda went with whatever he first saw. He really didn't have time to eat breakfast, which usually wouldn't be a problem. Jisung wasn't much of a breakfast eater. Today it was a problem though. Jisung was hungry.

Triggers took up a lot of energy. Since it was still morning he didn't have energy for a trigger in the first place, causing him to be more tired and even more hungry than usual.

So, he grabbed a toast that was laying on the kitchen counter and continued on running to the front door. He put on his shoes, grabbed his already packed bag –that, for some reason, he managed to do the night before– and checked himself in the mirror. Will do, he thought and went outside of his and his mom's shared apartment. Jisung ran down the stairs to the front door and when he opened it he could already see his best friend's car parked in the distance.

"Hello Minho hyung", he exclaimed happily as soon as he opened the car's door. The only response was Minho rolling his eyes.
Jisung got in and Minho started the car. "What are you doing with that toast?" Jisung looked at the toast still in his hand. It was kind of a wonder he hadn't lost it on the way to the car. Instead of answering he took one big bite. Minho rose an eyebrow but kept his thoughts to himself and to be honest Jisung couldn't have cared less about what the other thought. After he was done eating Jisung said: "Yeah, I love you too, Min hyung. Yeah, it's really good to see you too hyung. Yeah, I also missed you hyung." "You better did."
