A/n: Short explanation before we start: Our grade system in upper classes works with points. 15 points are equal to an A+, 14 are an A, 13 an A- and so on. In this chapter there'll be the mention of 4 points, which are equal to a D-.

Jisung opened up his exam notebook and immediately closed it again. He'd seen the grade and that was enough for him. He hated Biology.
"What is it?", Felix asked and tried to grab Jisung's notebook.
They were sitting in a break room. Jisung hadn't had the guts to see his grade inside. He knew it wouldn't be good.
Jisung let Felix take the exam and the slightly younger checked the grade.
"4 points aren't that bad", Felix tried to cheer Jisung up after he'd closed the notebook again. "Yeah well it means I failed. I could've done better. Felix, I want to take this as one of my graduation subjects. It's important that I do well." "But you are! 4 points are a good start. You can work your way up. Maybe ask Hongjoong for help. I think he's also taking Biology as one of his graduation subjects. I'm sure he'll be able to help you!", Felix continued to keep up his positive view. "How many points did you have?", Jisung changed the subject. "Uhm, 11." "See? You got nothing to worry about." "Ji..." "Just let it be Lix."
Felix had always been better than him. Jisung wasn't mad, he wasn't jealous either. No, he really was glad that Felix was this good in school. Felix deserved it. The younger just tended to forget that Jisung wasn't as good as he was. Sometimes Felix was just too positive and it felt like he was belittling Jisung. He didn't need the positive words. They wouldn't change anything.
"I know what you need right now", Felix said determined. "Hm?", Jisung made. "Wait a second", Felix exclaimed. Then he left, leaving Jisung all sad and confused behind.
When Felix didn't return after a few minutes, Jisung started to get worried.
What if he'd annoyed Felix?
That was probably it. He couldn't do anything right. He couldn't full fill what he was working so hard for. His friends secretly hated him. He couldn't even help out his mom enough. She was doing so much while he sat in school and did not even get good grades. He was a big disappointment. No wonder everybody left him alone. He deserved it.
Tears started forming in Jisung's eyes. This was all too much for him.
He curled himself up as an attempt to hide from the outer world. There were too many people passing by. This was a public space and Jisung wanted no one to see him like this. All vulnerable. It was hideous.
That was until he felt someone sit down next to him.
At first he was scared that it was a random stranger that would make fun of him so he tried to hide his face even more. He wasn't capable of facing anyone -especially strangers- right now.
"Uhm don't cry?", the stranger said.
Wait. This isn't a stranger, is it?, Jisung suddenly realised. No, the voice sounds way too familiar.
"Go away Hyunjin hyung", Jisung tried to make the older go away. This was the worse scenario he didn't think about. Hyunjin was the last person that should see him like this. "No", was only heard by the other.
There was a silence. Jisung's tears were still running.
"What do you want?", Jisung then finally got out. "You to talk to me", was the response. "Oh and it'd be nice to see your face, but one thing at a time I guess."
Sighing Jisung wiped off his tears and sat up straight. The other wouldn't leave so why not tell him? Otherwise he'd look even worse and he didn't want that.
"Aww you look incredibly cute", Hyunjin said and squished his cheeks. "They're so red. I have to take a picture." The blonde took out his photo and tried to take a few pictures. Even though he hated it, Jisung let him do whatever he wanted. Hyunjin was his soulmate. He should get used to him being around even at his most vulnerable moments.
"Now, what bothers you?", Hyunjin went back to serious mode. "My biology exam. It went horrible. I only got four points. I want to take this as one of my graduation subjects. That's so important and I can't even be good in that." Tears swelled in his eyes again. "What if I don't get a good graduation? How will I continue on? My Mom lives alone. She needs my support. What if I won't be able to support her?" "Wow you think far ahead. Jisung, don't be too hard on yourself. You may have not been the best in this exam, but you don't have to. Yes, four point mean you didn't pass this exam, but you will with the next one. Felix will make sure of that. And even if you don't and everything happens as you say, I will be there to support you. I'm your soulmate, we will spend the rest of our life together, yeah? We will find a way through all of this. Trust me."
More tears had formed while Hyunjin had spoken. The taller was just too good to be true sometimes.
"Hey! I said don't cry", said exclaimed. Jisung only hugged him as a response. They stayed like this for a while. When they let go Jisung had successfully calmed down.
"Thank you hyung." "You know what? Let's just drop the formalities." Hyunjin stroke through Jisung's hair. "Oh now it's fine? A few weeks ago it wasn't", Jisung pouted, playing offended. "Well, a lot has changed in those weeks. Plus, I kinda like you now", Hyunjin grinned. "I hate you." "You know, you say that a lot. I don't think I need to take that seriously." "When do you take me serious? "I did just now." "That's an exception." "Yeah, yeah, you keep telling that yourself."
Jisung had missed this. He'd missed Hyunjin. Not seeing the other had been extremely weird. He didn't know how he'd been able to live without him.
"I missed you", Jisung decided to say his thoughts out loud. "Well that was random, but same here. We should start studying together", Hyunjin suggested. "Sounds good", Jisung agreed.
Out of nowhere the bell rang.
"There's no way it's actually that late", Jisung said in disbelief. "It is", Hyunjin replied while showing his phone screen to Jisung. "WHAT? I didn't eat a thing", Jisung pouted. "Me neither", Hyunjin sighed. "Welp this is gonna be a fun lesson. What do you have now?" "Biology together with Seungmin." "Oh that's convenient. I won't you hold off anymore then", Jisung said and gestured the older to go. "You don't hold me off", Hyunjin smiled. "I was here from my own will and because Felix dragged me here. But I honestly wanted to help." "That's really nice of you", Jisung blushed.
Suddenly a weird idea formed in Jisung's idea. He hated it the moment he thought of it, but weirdly enough it felt really tempting. So, without thinking more Jisung probably did the stupidest thing he'd ever done.
When Hyunjin bent down to hug him, instead of embracing the hug, Jisung kissed the older on the cheek. Why he did that? He didn't know, he just felt like it.
Hyunjin froze and before he could do or say anything Jisung made a run for it.
This was the most embarrassing thing he'd ever done.
