Hyunjin let his pen drop onto his table and laid his head on the empty sheets of paper in front of him. The energy he needed for this homework was just not existing. He groaned and sat back up. He needed to get done with this homework. But the pen crossed his plans. It fell on the floor with a loud thump, taking all of Hyunjin's energy away once again. The blonde let his head fall back onto the table and sighed. Maybe he just wouldn't do his homework. He didn't need to do it, did he?

Just when he'd decided not to do it, a picture of a certain brown-haired small boy crossed his mind, reminding why he'd been wanting to do the homework in the first place.

Distraction.

Distraction from the thought of his possible soulmate. Distraction from all the things he'd noticed ever since Jisung had spoken about his suspicions. Distraction from everything slightly connected to them theme.

He hated it.

Hyunjin knew he couldn't run away from his problems forever, but as long as he could he would.

Sighing he leant down to grab the pen, almost falling off of his chair because of it moving in the wrong direction. He also hit his head on the way back up, leading up to him dropping the pen once again. Frustrated he slid off of the chair to search for the pen once again, just to decide that he couldn't continue on like this. Hyunjin needed to do something about his situation and he knew exactly what this something was. He just didn't want to.

For a few minutes he just sat underneath his working table, considering whether or not he should call Jisung.

As he stared at the table above him, his vision turned black and white. Hyunjin groaned even harder and closed his eyes.

He heard a giggling. It sounded familiar. The giggling was replaced by someone clearing their throat, then a few chords were played before a sweet voice began singing. It was ... beautiful.

Hyunjin was speechless. Well, he couldn't speak in a trigger, only if his future him spoke, but if he'd be able to he would've been speechless. All of these negative triggers and then this.

The voice grew louder, many emotions carried within itself. Hyunjin could hear sadness and hopelessness, but to him it was the most beautiful thing he'd ever heard. If this was his soulmate singing, he'd hate himself for being so mean to such a vulnerable being.

Then the singing suddenly stopped and Hyunjin found himself back into reality. His vision was still black and white, but Hyunjin didn't really care about that right now. The decision was made. He would talk to Jisung. Maybe it would all be a misunderstanding and if it wasn't and Jisung really was his soulmate. Well, they had to figure something out.

Hyunjin reached out to the phone, which laid a few meters away from him and searched for Jisung's contact. Soon after the face of the black-haired appeared on his screen.

"Hi Hyunjin hyung. What's- Wait, are you sitting underneath a table?"
"Hi Jisung. Yes I am, but that doesn't matter right now. About Tuesday... I think we need to actually talk about it."

Hyunjin pulled down a notebook, which he'd been using as a trigger diary and opened it.

"I mean of course. What do you want us to though? There's not much we can do. If there's not a trigger that actually shows us together we can't prove anything."
"Yeah I know, but we can see if your theory makes sense or not", Hyunjin said and placed his phone in front of him, using his chair as a backrest.
"Oh you mean by searching similarities?"
"Exactly", Hyunjin smiled. Even though he wasn't comfortable with the possibility of Jisung being right he needed to know.
"Okay what did you get hyung?"
