Jisung was running towards his school. He was late.

It had been the nicer version of a Thursday, meaning that he had a free hour after his lunch break. Jisung of course had used that time to go home. Eating lunch at home was nicer than in school. Besides that, spending two and a half hours alone in school seemed scary. But of course Jisung had to mess up the time and now he was late for his favourite subject. The producing course.

Oh and he was supposed to meet Felix.

The blonde was supposed to stay at Jisung's place for the night since his parents were out for a business trip. Felix' parents didn't like it when Felix was alone in their home so they always sent Felix to a friend, meaning either Minho or Jisung. Now it was Jisung's turn. It had been for a while actually. Minho had been really busy in the past few months. That's what he'd said at least.

Breathing heavily he arrived in front of his school. Now he just needed to find Felix. He looked around, trying to find the slightly younger. He ended up spotting the other on a bench nearby, chatting with a taller person. He quickly approached them. "Hey Lix, sorry I'm late", he greeted his friend and gave a small wave at the other person, who turned out to be Hyunjin. "Oh it's fine, I was just talking to Hyunjin hyung", Felix waved off. "Well I'm sorry to interrupt your talk but we really gotta go to my course", Jisung said a bit uneasy. "Yeah I'm coming. Bye Hyunjin hyung. Thank you for spending the time with me", Felix said smiling at the older, who just smiled and waved it off. "It's fine, bye you guys." Jisung again waved and Felix did so too and the two of them walked off.

Shortly after they arrived at the music room. The lesson had already started and Felix and Jisung just quietly sat down in one of the last rows.

"Woah this room is really cool", Felix whispered, while he mustered the equipment in the front. "I know right?", Jisung whispered back. "Mister Min seems to be a professional. I don't even know why he's on our school. Could easily work in a company", he continued to whisper.

"Mister Han, you are late and now you're interrupting my class by talking to your seat mate. Who is this anyways?", Mister Min spoke up from the front, a somewhat disappointed look on his face. "Sorry Mister Min", Jisung spoke up. "This is my friend Felix and I just explained to him, what we're doing here. I hope it's fine that I brought him along?" "Yeah it's fine, just don't interrupt my lesson again, please. Chan, could you keep an eye on them just in case?", Mister Min responded. "We literally said two sentences, why are we getting that help student to keep an eye on us?", Felix asked, once again in a whispering tone. "He's a bit strict, but Chan is nice so it won't be big of a problem", Jisung replied, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.

Meanwhile Chan had made his way in the back and sat down a bit distanced from the two boys.

"Hey Jisung, I feel weird", Felix said a bit louder than before as soon as Chan had sat down. Before Jisung could ask anything the help student had got up again and approached them. He laid his hand on Felix's shoulder and begun: "What's wr-", but was cut off by a trigger. Jisung could tell that it was a trigger because Chan's whole body relaxed and his eyes went into a dreamy stare. Weird thing was, when Jisung wanted to check if Felix was alright, he could see the same symptoms on him. Both Chan and Felix were triggered, which was extremely rare. Except, well, except for soulmates.

No it couldn't be.

That's when both of them snapped out of their dreamworld. They stared at each other in disbelief. "You-", Chan started, but was cut off by Mister Min this time. "Congratulations to the happy couple, can we now continue with our lesson?", he asked, somewhat annoyed. "Yes, yes, of course", Chan replied, quickly removing his hand from Felix' shoulder and sitting back down on his seat behind them.

The rest of the lesson was nothing special. Well, Jisung couldn't concentrate because Felix couldn't. The younger was moving around nonstop. It was obvious that the other was overwhelmed and nervous. Jisung found it cute, but at the same time... Felix had just found his soulmate. What would that mean for their friendship?

It was selfish of Jisung, but he dearly loved Felix. He'd adopted the younger in eight grade on a trip to the zoo. You may be thinking 'that's not anything special, why would a friendship form because of that?' To Jisung it was something special. He'd been excited for this trip for a long time. He loved reptiles and was so excited to see them. He'd teamed up with some other classmates who thought the same way and they explored the park together, when he heard from one of his teammates that a boy was crying. Someone had told the younger boy that they'd be going into a tiger cage. Jisung immediately went to help the boy, while his other classmates just laughed about the "stupidity". From that day on Jisung and Felix had been a team. JiLix against the world. That was their motto. What if it'd be destroyed after this? It was fair to say that Jisung was afraid. Afraid to loose a close friend. His almost birthday twin.

The lesson ended and Jisung started to collect his things, while Felix immediately got up and left. Probably to talk to Chan. If Jisung was lucky enough, the two would leave and immediately forget about Jisung. That'd be the easiest way. Done with packing his things he looked over to Felix and Chan, who were in a conversation both smiling widely. Jisung could practically feel their joy. Unsure of what to do now, Jisung got up and grabbed his bag. Was he supposed to leave? Or should he wait for Felix? He stood there for a moment thinking, when Felix and his gaze suddenly met, making Jisung panic. He didn't want to interrupt them, but it was already too late. Felix came back running to Jisung.

"Sorry, I got caught up with Chan hyung. Initially we just wanted to exchange phone numbers", Felix smiled. "Ah, it's fine. Wanna go home? I'm tired", Jisung attempted to change the subject. "Yes, I have so much to tell you", the blonde responded, excitedly clapping into his hands.

The attempt did not work. The whole way home Felix talked about Chan. Jisung learned, that Felix had seen himself in Australia together with an at first unknown person. They stood in front of a to Felix unknown house, a person standing next to him. The person then had laid their hand onto Felix's shoulder and said: "Don't worry they'll love you." Felix had turned to the person, smiling. That's when he had seen Chan and jumped back to reality. Another thing Felix was surprised about, was that the tone in his ears had been present, but a lot more quiet than usual and it had stopped earlier.

This brought up hope in Jisung. Maybe one day, his pass outs would stop.

Arrived at Jisung's home they sat down in his room both needing to do some homework. There was a moment of silence in which both of them unpacked their stuff. Then Felix suddenly stopped what he was doing and looked at Jisung. "Ji, what happens now?" Jisung, really overwhelmed by the question, sat there in silence before replying: "I don't know Lix. I don't know."
