PRESENT TIME.
12 hours after the Congressman's Retirement Party incident...

"Mrs. Sullivan, I can assure you that Harika was in good physical condition after our lab tests, and her vital signs were all normal. She has no severe injuries, and the nurses treated her wounds as soon as she arrived at this hospital.

"Doc, anything else? I was present when a massive crystal chandelier fell on her, and it was a true accident... sigurado ba kayong 'yan lang ang mga bagay na natamo niya? I genuinely thought that she was in danger."

"I fully agree with mom. We really thought she's in critical condition in that accident and now we're here to know that she... was fine?"

Harika was fine at all.

"Could you excuse me asking this question; kamag-anak ba talaga kayo ng pasyente?

Lymareva locked her sharp gaze on the doctor.

Venus moved slowly while holding her mother's hand, dodging the doctor's eyes.

"We are the Sullivans, and I am currently in charge of Harika. You're just a doctor here; stop worrying about how we'll react. Kung tapos mo nang suriin ang pamangkin ko, makaaalis ka na," Lymareva said while arched-browing in order to intimidate the doctor for posing such a question.

The doctor left the room after lowering his eyes and bowing.

Shortly after exhaling, Lymareva rolled her eyes. She felt offended.

"Right, mom. Venus pouted. "Bakit ba kasi nasa maayos siyang kalagayan? Did the man wearing a wolf mask actually saved her?

It was the man in the suit who had a wolf mask over his head. Sino ba talaga ang taong ito?

Venus sat on the couch holding her limited edition handbag while her mother followed her and sighed deeply as she gazed out the window.

Seconds dragged on, Harika groaning in her bed and feeling her head throb awakened her. She slept for hours longer than she should have, and it's common to have a heavy head waking up.

Napatingin si Venus sa kanyang ina. "Mom, she's awake," she murmured.

Lymareva approached Harika, cross-armed and observing her like a hawk above the tree.

Harika hand on her head, feeling queasy. Following what happened the previous evening, she was aware that she was in the hospital, but still perplexed by everything.

Nagtungo si Venus sa kanyang ina. "Mom, do you want me to call the doctor—"

With her hand, Lymareva stopped her daughter while maintaining a steady gaze on Harika. "Let her first absorb the surroundings," she said.

She was avoiding her aunt from her side by focusing in one direction.
