"What?!"
Nagising ako dahil sa ingay mula sa ibaba. Nakita ko na lang si Jagger na nasa kusina! Sakto pagkarating ko ay sinabi niyang 'I will court her' kaya napasigaw ako sa gulat.
"Anak, goodmorning! Andiyan ka na pala. Come one, let's eat," Mom said happily.
"Goodmorning, Mom and Dad." I greeted them and planted a kissed on their cheeks. They were both eating breakfast.
"Goodmorning, Erica." Jagger greeted me sweetly. Umiwas lang ako ng tingin.
I sighed and sat in front of Jagger. Kumuha na ako ng mga pagkaing nakahanda sa mesa. May bento box pa. "Goodmorning, nak... Tagal mo magising," tinawanan nila ako. What's funny? "Sa buong buhay ko siya lang ang lalaking nagpaalam sa amin na ligawan ka," Dad said and chuckled.
I just rolled my eyes, "Mom, Dad, payag kayo?" I said in disbelief. "Ligaw?" I gritted my teeth.
I have two exes at patago lang iyong relasyon namin dahil nag-aaral pa ako that time. Ano naman ngayon kung nagpaalam siya sa parents ko? Ako ang liligawan kaya ako magde-decide!
"We just met at Sin's wedding!" pagkaklaro ko.
"That's why let's spend time together... To know each other more." I looked at Jagger that is currently smirking. Geez!
Inis kong hiniwa ang porkchop. "Anak, you're both adults. He's here to have permission. Minsan na lang sa lalaki ang ganoon!" Parang pinagtatanggol pa nila.
"Erica, you should eat and wash up. Have a date with this man." Dad chuckled. Nag-fistbomb pa sila ni Jagger. Magkatapat kami ni Jagger at katabi niya si Dad na katapat ni Mom, na katabi ko.
I scoffed, "Dad!" reklamo ko. Bumaling ako kay Mom na nakangiti sa akin. Tumango siya na senyales na pumayag ako.
I shook my head while chewing, "I know we're both adults but... Mom, Dad, can't I decide on my own? If ayaw ko, ayaw ko."
"Then, I'll keep on annoying you," napatigil ako sa pagnguya at napalingon sa kanya. He's smiling. Iyong walang halong pang-iinis na ngiti.
"Erica, try to give him a chance. He looks serious about courting you. He even cooked these for you!" sabay turo ng tapsilog at porkchop na nasa bento box.
I sighed, "Fine. I'll have a date with him," I glanced at him and I saw his face with amusement.
"Masungit talaga 'tong si Erica. I wonder why?" Dad joked.
Jagger chuckled and crossed his arms and reclined his back on the chair. "Sobra po," I just rolled my eyes and continued eating.
"Jagger, take care of our daughter, okay?" Mom said and plastered a smile on her face. Nakatingin sila ni Jagger sa isa't isa.
"I can take care of myself, Mom." Pagkaklaro ko. Kaya ko naman talaga, eh.
"Of course po, Ma'am. I'll take care of her... forever," I gave him a dirty look. Walang forever!
Mukha namang kinilig si Mom sa sinabi niya. Aalagaan? Sus, maniwala! Iniinis nga niya ako!
"You can call us, Tito and Tita, Jagger. Drop that Ma'am and Sir," Dad chuckled and eat.
"Okay po, Dad-- I mean Tito. Soon pa pala 'yun." He scratched his head and turned his face to me. I glared at him.
After eating I headed to my room and took a bath. Nag-iisip-isip ako habang umaagos ang tubig sa katawan ko galing sa shower.
'Of course po, Ma'am. I'll take care of her... forever'
Those words keep on repeating in my head! "Erica, you won't fall with that man, okay?" I whispered to myself.
I just wear puff sleeve top, jeans and flat sandals. I also used my Calvin Klein sling bag. Mukha akong college student nang makita ang sarili sa salamin. "Ugh!" napapadyak ako. "I hate this. Bakit pa kasi ako pumayag?" Hindi makapaniwalang sambit ko sa sarili. I also sprayed my neck and wrist with perfume.
I went downstairs and saw Jagger's eyes twinkled when he saw me. My forehead creased. Para kasing manghang-mangha siya nung nakita ako
"Stop staring, Mr. Annoying." Sambit ko nang nakababa at nakalapit na sa kanya.
"There you are, Erica!" excited na sabi ni Mom at niyakap ako. I hugged her back. "Enjoy your date, anak, okay?" she combed my hair and kissed my cheek.
"I hope so, Mom." I kissed her cheeks.
"Have fun, nak!" lumingon ako kay Dad na pababa, nakahawak sa railings ng hagdan. Nakangiti siyang kumaway sa amin.
I pouted, "We'll go na po, Tito and Tita." Jagger said and placed his hand to my waist. I glared at him but he just chuckled! "I'll make sure we will have fun together."
"Where are we going, Mr. Annoying?" I asked him while driving. I looked at him at waited for his answer.
"Secret. You'll wait and see," he glanced at me and winked.
I clenched my jaw, "Jagger, your really annoying!" I hissed.
"What?" he chuckled. "I didn't do something wrong, baby." Again. That 'baby' endearment is pissing me!
"Don't call me 'baby'! You're really annoying." I pointed him, "Also... Stop winking at me!" My eyebrows furrowed. Nai-stress ako sa lalakeng 'to!
"Naiinis ka na dahil doom?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. "Wow, you're really furious, Erica." He laughed and bit his lower lip.
I just ignored him and leaned my back. "You look good with your outfit, Erica."
I scoffed, "Bolero!"
"You're making my stomach whirl, baby." He said out of nowhere.
