𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐓𝐓- 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝟏

Open House Of Horrors!

It was one of my favorite times of the year, Halloween. Today was a busy day, I was at school and then I was going to Mitch and Uncle Cam's party, the lastly I'm going trick or treating with Luke, Manny and a friend of theirs, not my friend, he was called Reuben. But I knew for a fact, me and Manny were gonna be in trouble when we got home from school, we walked slowly, we were already late thanks to Manny for getting sent to the principles office for accidently setting the fire alarm off. 

"Hey, Gloria" I smiled as me and Manny walked in, "Guys, why are you coming back from school so late"? Gloria frowned, "I got sent to the principles office" Manny sighed, "Oh, I am sending him and angry e-mail, because I don't like it when-" Gloria began, "No, no, no, it's not his fault" I sighed, "What did you do wrong"? Jay asked, "Nothing" I frowned. 

"Oh, that's it I'm calling him. I hate when he tries to-"! Gloria huffed, "Nothing on purpose, it was between periods right before this big test, I was clearing my mind by practicing some of my Gene Kelly dance moves-" Manny began, "As one does" I muttered, "Right, and my umbrella accidently snagged the fire alarm. The principle thought I did it on purpose so we'd miss the test" Manny explained. "But you didn't"! I defended, "That's it! I'm going to his house"! Gloria yelled, "Mom! You gotta stop doing this, I'm not sure if it's the pregnancy...which we all know wasn't your fault" Manny huffed looking at Jay, "But lately you've been-" I began, "Such a hot head" Manny added. 

"I am not a hothead! I am Colombian, we get excited"! Gloria yelled, "Our country is covered in coffee"! I added, "Just like the Starbucks girl we ordered from" Manny mumbled, "Half-Caf, Non-Fat, Wet Soy Latte! How hard is that to hear"?! Gloria cursed. It was a little later, it was dark outside, "Jay, Julie, you have to get ready for Mitch and Cam's party" Gloria sighed, Manny had gone to meet up with his friends so they could watch a horror movie before trick or treating. 

"Julie, does my skin look looser to you"? Jay asked looking in the mirror by the stairs, "What"? I scoffed, the doorbell rang, it must be some trick or treater's, Gloria answered the door, it was two boys, they weren't really boys they looked like they we're the same age as Haley. "Maybe I should try some of Gloria's neck cream, doesn't she have one with some specks of diamonds in it"? Jay asked not realizing I was no longer listening. 

"Trick-or-treat" The two boys bluntly hummed, "You guys don't even have costumes"? I sighed, "I'm a skeleton" One mumbled, he was wearing a skeleton shirt with some jeans, "And I'm a lemon" The other one huffed, he was wearing a yellow top, the color wasn't even lemon. "Aren't you too old to be trick-or-treating"? Gloria smiled, "Aren't you too old to be having a baby" the 'skeleton' snarled, the lemon let out a snicker. 

"You find that funny, lemon? Here's a better joke, knock, knock, what's gone...you're candy" I smirked snatching both of their bags of candy and slamming the door. "What was that"? Jay asked finally taking notice, "Some rude dummies, that they think that they can-" Gloria began, "All right, listen. Let's just calm down, get ready for the party" Jay smiled, "Calm down what? Huh, you think I'm a hothead like Manny"?! Gloria yelled, "No" Jay sighed, but before he could elaborate on his answer there was three splats on the door. 

"You can be emotional, volatile, maybe..." Jay carried on ignoring it but Gloria stomped back down the stairs, she swung the door open, she let out a gasp, "You put egg on my house! I kill what you love"! She screamed running down the street, "Psycho" Me and Jay whispered. 

"Just saying that we could have caught those kids" I shrugged as we walked into Mitch and Uncle Cam's kitchen, "What, and chased them around all night? I'm not a young man anymore as the world keeps pointing out" Jay huffed, "What did that waiter just call you outside"? I laughed, "Medieval Knievel" Jay mumbled, "That is hilarious! I love it when people put some thought into their outfit, illegal alien, sugar daddy" One of the party people smiled pointing at Gloria and Jay.
