Ambar POV
I run towards Rehaan where he had caught Samayra before her head could hit the wall behind her, or she could just fall down from the other side and hit the ground. He had her tightly secured in his arms."Chetan..." I go to say as he ignores me running inside his bedroom and places her on the bed.
"Bhabhi... Bhabhi..." he says picking up the glass beside his bedside table and immediately realizing it was whiskey and not water.
I run towards the other side getting a bottle of water and sprinkling it over my wives face as I touch her hand and feel it a little less warmer than it should be. My instincts kick into action as I start rubbing her hands alternatively.
"MOM...." Rehaan shouts as Ayra didn't move with the water drops sprayed on her face.
I rub her hands furiously as my brain short-circuits unable to comprehend what was wrong with her.
"What... What's wrong?" My mom says entering the room and looks at Samayra on the bed.
"Oh my God...." Mom gasps as Rehaan speaks while I go to rub Ayra's feet for additional warmth.
"She just fainted in the corridor." He tells mom as she runs to be by Ayra's side.
"Heyy Bhagvaan kyu shadi vale ghar mein kalesh...." Dadi enters saying as she looks at Ayra and pauses.
(Oh God, Why is there so much unrest in the house of a wedding....)
"Haaayyyyeeeee... Ye apne devar k bistar mein kya kare hai... Bolti thi na mein, ye ladki mujhe..." She goes to say as Rehaan shouts.
(Oh Nooooooo, what is she doing in her younger brother-in-law's bed?)
"Oh Dadi.. agar tum chahti ho na ye shadi ho, to chup kr k yahaan se chlti bano..." Rehaan says and I was too perplexed to notice the shock on grandma's face or when she left while Mom joins me to check on Samayra.
(Grandma, if you want this wedding to happen just leave this room without another noise.)
"Mom, call dad or a doctor. FAST. She's pregnant." I say hurriedly as mom's eyes widen for one full minute as realization dawns on her.
"Then take her to your room. The smells of all this drugs and alcohol... It's not good for her. It might be making her dizzy and nauseous." Mom says as I immediately put my arms around my wife and lift her up, running towards my bedroom as Rehaan goes out and runs away to call dad.
I place Samayra on the bed and start rubbing her feet as mom starts rubbing the palm of her hands for warmth . In the mean time, Chetan returns with Dad and a BP machine.
"Dad... She... what just happened?" I say unable to fathom the situation and he just nods.
"Make her turn to her side and remove the pillow from her head. Sometimes blood pressure can get low and blood supply to the head can decrease or even low blood sugar level." He says, putting the cuff around her arm to note her BP and then looks at mom.
