Samayra POV
Grandma landed that evening as Ambar picked her up from the airport and brought her home as Ishleen was a mess of nerves and sweat.
"You'll be fine." I say as she had moved most of her stuff in my room.
"I want to beat the crap out of her for lying to my parents and brothers who trusted her, as if she was my real grandmother. She threw me into a marriage with a shitty guy, knowing what was waiting for me and remember I told you that she came to me on the day of our wedding. She told me to do, whatever my husband wanted of me so as to keep him happy. She wanted ME to keep HIM happy with whatever HE asked for. An asshole who drank like a motherfking troll, was stoned like a Gnome and had the sexual needs of Prince Philip who was ready to fuck even a sleeping princess." She said as I whispered to myself.
"Wow, You're really into fairytales and Disney." I said as she huffed.
"She expected me to fulfill his every need, you know why? Because she knew my parents could not afford a big dowry. I would never be married into such a well-off family, but if... What if that Rehaan from before the jail was real... I would have preferred a simple life at farm from this palace of a house."
"She knew that my parents trusted her enough to never once enquire about the guy they were marrying their daughter off to. All they could think was about happy I will be in a rich family. Even Rehaan ji's cousin came to warn me about his ways of living, but I trusted Grandma too much and went ahead with the wedding and now that he is fine..." she said pausing to assemble her thoughts together.
"Samayra Bhabhi I'm just really scared. What if he wakes up one day and decides to go to his old self..." she says on the verge of tears and I get up to hug her tight.
She was taller than me, but immediately hugged me back.
"He won't, I'll make sure of that. But right now, Tell me... Do you want to face Grandma?" I ask and she shakes her head.
"I have nothing but hatred for that woman. But I..." She was about to say as I pick up a duffle bag and start throwing some of her clothes in it.
"Let's go then. Pick up whatever you need." I say midsentence as she looks at me shocked.
"Where are we going?"
"Someplace safe, and completely stress free for a lady with raging pregnancy hormones."
"Two ladies." She corrects me as I shake my head.
"One of us needs to stay here and help mom." I say as she looked confused.
"But why me?" she says.
"Because you look like you need it."
"But Grandma hates you so much more and..."
"Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence Ishi, but I'm not the one planning to beat the crap out of her." I say as she helped me pack.
"We can take shifts?" she suggests.
"Sure, ten days each." I say as she nods.
"But where are we going?" she asks again as I hold her hand.
"Just trust your big sister on this." She said as we were leaving the room and I stop.
"Take the bag and go from the door next to the kitchen into the garden. It will lead to the parking." I said as she looked at me suspiciously.
"Your husband is on bed and really needy. He won't let you leave if he knows." I say as she looks at me suspiciously.
"What about mom and dad?" she asks.
