The Duck's Echo

By AprilDay and Warrior_Prophet

The flying V above the roof

Flew behind him, they needed proof

To them this was some kind of spoof

For this Duck he wasn't ovenproof!

The bellowing quack it did soar

Loud as a bugle call to war

Then defiant of well known lore

Resounding down, echo's did pour!

Reverberating crystal clear

All heard it in their inner ear

This was going to be nuclear

Even the Famous Grouse gave cheer

Interviewed by Sir Robin Day

Riches and fame came the Duck's way

He slept soft in fresh sweet clean hay

And acted in a Shakespeare play

No one knew there would be a twist

He's a fake and something they'd missed

If they found out they would be pissed

This Duck is a ventriloquist!
