Broken Wings

In the long dark ages
We have seen the Almighty's haloed
But since has turned the history pages
Leaving behind a past so shadowed
Dark becomes light
We clip their feathered white wings
Broken wings
Angels are falling
As we believe less in Heaven
The Angels fought for their worth
From their home they have been driven
To walk amongst us on Earth
Fallen angels
Rising demons
Disappearing compassion
Blooming evil
In the land of freemen
Angels atoned, they keep faith and trust
Some shunned above becoming demon
Wings broken they still walk amongst us
