The River's Flow

I live life on the edge
And fallen overboard
It’s me you’ll dredge
From the blood that’s been poured
I'm suffocating,
The river it drowns
Flowing in my ear,
With deafening sounds
It won’t be long until I’m dead
You’ll say it’s abhorrent
And pull the plug to watch that river so red
As the crimson tide becomes a whirling torrent
The river flows
With great force and speed
Don't you know it's,
The river I bleed
You see it now through cuts of sinew
The flood caused by the blade
Streams of blood they still continue
First aid too late for this last tidal wave
