*NAZLI*

"I wanted to cook for him Fatosh, but that man..." I increased my chopping pace, "Mhmm" "I mean, he was actually a nice person person yesterday evening. The book was also good... But in the morning... Ugh!" I slammed the knife on the counter, taking deep breaths. "Ah Nazli, calm down" Fatosh hugged me from behind and rested her chin on my shoulder.

"Why did I even marry him?" I mumbled. "Oof ya," She sighed. "It's already evening... Forget about it-" "Who is Asiya, Fatosh? Who? I'm sure that I came into his life earlier than Asiya!" I retorted pushing her away and walking out of the kitchen. "Now you're being unfair" Fatosh chuckled and I glared at her.

"You didn't even let Ferit explain anything" "He doesn't have to explain anything. It's as clear as day, this marriage will go down the drain" Just as I said that, a notification lit up my phone's screen. "Ferit sent a message..." "Ah, finally! You've one less thing to complain about" I narrowed my eyes on her again, "What girl? You've been groaning that he hadn't called you and there, he sent a message!" She replied. "To whom was I talking to all this time huh?" Fatosh chuckled at this.

Ferit: Nazli, you need to get back home before 7. I need to meet a few guests tonight and you have to be with me. We'll be having dinner with them, don't be late.

"Who does he think he is? My owner?" I frowned at the message, "He wants to have dinner with you Nazli, how romantic!" "That's where you are wrong Fatosh. Ferit isn't romantic. The only thing that he wants tonight is for me to stick around with him so that I don't ruin his reputation. Newly married idiots..." I grumbled.

"So won't you go then?" "No, of course not" I texted him back.

Nazli: I can't come. I'm busy and tired.

His reply came in seconds,

Ferit: You have to come Nazli. What will the people think if we aren't together tonight?

"See, I told you" I smiled at Fatosh sarcastically.

Nazli: Enjoy your evening Ferit Aslan.

I locked my phone and stuffed it into my bag. "I can't believe you just did that Nazli" Fatosh rolled her eyes. "I'm still angry at him... If I go to him tonight, he'll think I forgave him" "You and Ferit are literally the stubbornest people alive" She chuckled.

"But make sure that what you did just now doesn't backfire" She mumbled the last words and walked towards the coffee machine. "Backfire?" I followed her curiously, "Leaving Ferit alone is dangerous" "What do you mean?" I frowned at her. "Just think... Ferit Aslan- young, successful... Handsome..." She wiggled her brows.

"For god's sake Fatosh, you are scaring me" I drowned on the chair with a sigh. "Just think Nazli, what if there are plenty of deadly women out there?" "Ferit wouldn't go that far right...?" I mumbled to myself. "It isn't about Ferit, girl. It's about those women who hover around him like vultures... Especially since his wife isn't around him tonight" She shook her head, this made me uncomfortable again.

"There will be other women... Right?" "Worse than Asiya" Fatosh sighed, "Ah Fatosh! What are you trying to do?!" She giggled this time. "Just telling you the pros and cons dear" "Don't!" I pressed my forehead frustrated. "But Nazli... What if a pretty woman comes up to him? They talk, they laugh, they..." "I would rip her apart..." I murmured.

"Exactly. We don't want to cause a murder now, do we?" I looked up at her, "You're saving two lives here- one is Ferit's from the hands of a vulture and the other is the woman who'll get ripped to pieces by you" She replied. "You're right... I have to go..." "Well done girl!" She gave me a cuddle.

I was scared of what I was capable of, if Ferit did end up with another woman.

*FERIT*

Within two days, our wedding was going down the drain.

Nazli didn't trust me. Nazli never listened to me. Nazli was always stubborn. Nazli was crazy.

I sighed as I took a sip of the wine glass in my hand. At least I had Engin to keep me company, "I just can't believe this" I said, "What? The Nazli part or the part that Mr.Nakatani will be late?" "The Nazli part"  I sighed. "Hmm... Won't she really come?" "She won't come Engin. My wife is not coming... If I go crazy one day it will be because of her" Engin chuckled at this, "Whatever you say Ferit" He replied.

Hakan and Demet came down the stairs then, "What are they doing here Engin?" I turned to him and he shrugged. "Oh Ferit Aslan!" He smirked on seeing us, tightening the grip on Demet's hand.  "Are you stalking me I wonder?" "Don't talk nonsense Hakan" Engin retorted.

"Hmm... I came here to meet Mr.Nakatani, isn't he here?" "Wow Hakan , you'll never stop your little games right?" Engin replied, "Trying to take our clients, stalking us?" Hakan chuckled at this. "Am I that bad?" He put on a petty face.

"Didn't Nazli come?" Demet turned to me earning glances from Hakan and Engin, "No she didn't" "Did you fight or something?" Hakan wiggled his eyebrows and I sighed in frustration till my eyes fell on the blue angel that came down the stairs accompanied with Fatosh.

I couldn't believe that Nazli was standing before me in a flashy blue gown. My grin widened as she walked towards me with a smile, "Sorry for being late" She mumbled shyly but I pulled her in an embrace, "It doesn't matter. Thank you for coming" I whispered and kissed her cheek softly. "You look beautiful Nazli" She blushed at this, "Thanks..." She replied as I pulled her in a side hug.

Even Engin gave Fatosh a bear hug and drifted into a conversation, eventually walking over towards the counter together to buy a drink. "Even Mrs.Aslan is here for the show" Hakan grinned at Nazli who ignored them completely, "We thought you had a fight when you didn't come together" Demet smiled at her and Nazli gave a humorless chuckle.

"What else can you expect Demet? This is the only thing that goes inside your head. You both suit each other really well when it comes to this" She sneered and I couldn't help smiling at this. My lioness in an angel's appearance.

"May I have this dance, sweetheart?" I turned to her now and she seemed slightly startled but tried not to show it. "Yes, love" She replied taking my hand as I lead her to the dance floor. The way she called me 'love' aroused me like none other.

I pulled her towards me as her arms went around my neck, the silly grin on my face felt permanent. Nazli's eyes meeting mine and breaking away shyly felt like a treat, "What?" She finally asked with a light chuckle. "This... It's hard to believe" I whispered brushing my nose against her making her breathing labored. "What do you mean?" "How did I get so lucky?" I replied, my gaze fixed to her eyes.

The blush in her cheeks grew darker, "You're crazy Ferit Aslan" She replied looking away. "Maybe Nazli, maybe" My voice took on a seductive turn as my nose brushed past her cheek, tickling her lightly. Watching her struggle to keep her giggles to herself was a treat.

A/N- Ahhh finally an update heh. I thought of extending this chapter to the Nakatani meet but nah... that would take real long.

Ferit and Nazli forgetting about their argument because of how they are affected by each other's presence was fun to write hehe.  Can't wait to write their 🙊🙉🙈 lmao.

Also, I wanna thank those who are correcting my mistakes in every chapter. I'm a hella lazy person so I won't reply to all comments but know that you are appreciated. Neither will I correct most of them becuz sorry, I'm too damn lazy.

And bruh, we crossed 2 fucking K views people. Means a lot. I hope to keep the updates a lot more steady from now. Sayonara.
