*NAZLI*

Kissing Ferit last night felt like a bad idea now. If Kemal hadn't come the last minute, I can't even imagine the things that Ferit could've done.

My feelings for my husband were still complicated. Sometimes, I wanted to stay close to him but mostly, I wanted to run as far as possible from him. I didn't want to ruin our 'relationship', though I was not sure what we felt for each other. Sometimes, Ferit's eyes would reflect pure love and admiration. Otherwise it was just desire.

I got out of bed with a sigh and wandered over to the kitchen. To my disappointment, my husband was nowhere to be seen. He couldn't have gone to work without telling me right?

I walked out to the balcony on hearing children laughing. A bunch of youngsters were skating over the frozen lake behind the hotel. I would love to join them.

The front door opened and a panting Ferit appeared. His t-shirt stuck to his chest revealing his muscular frame, I quickly deviated my attention to his face. "I thought you went to work" "I don't have work today" He replied and took a sip of water. "What?" I blinked at him, "So... Are we leaving today?" I wanted to stay longer. "No, we're staying for two more days." He replied and I sighed in relief.

"Uh..." I searched for words to continue our conversation and a smile played on Ferit's lips, "Did you... Have breakfast?" "People go on a jog before having breakfast" He smiled.

Of course Nazli, you are an idiot.

"Ah... Right..." I flustered a bit, "I'll make breakfast then" "With sparks?" He bit his bottom lip and my eyes widened. Why did I even tell him such things?

"Breakfast with sparks sounds delicious" He walked back to his room with a chuckle and that's when I mentally slapped myself. Ferit won't let go of the sparks that easily. Ah, Nazli!

*FERIT*

After taking a long shower, I walked over to the kitchen. Nazli was staring out of the balcony window with a fascinated smile on her face, "What are you looking at?" I walked over to where she stood and saw a few kids ice skating on the frozen lake.

Did she want kids now?

I stared at her puzzled.

"What happened?" I asked her again, "Do you know ice skating?" Ah, that was why she was staring at them. "Yes... I believe I do" I replied, "Lucky" She mumbled and continued staring at them. "The food will get cold" She took a deep sigh and returned to the table, such a puzzling woman.

"There is a party in the evening" I told her, "What party?" "Something related to the inauguration... They've invited everyone in the hotel. You might like it" I hoped to see her in a sexy red dress for it.

"Oh... Sounds okayish" "You don't want to go?" My face fell, "I'll go if you want to" She replied with a smile. When did she turn into that wife that did everything according to my wish?

Even though I didn't have any work related to the hotel, my company still required my attention. Especially since a lot of new projects had popped up. I spent the morning working in my room while Nazli was watching TV in the hall. Mr. and Mrs.Nakatani were leaving in the afternoon so they came to bid us farewell. Nazli pulled them both in a bear hug and I couldn't help smiling.

Kemal came around again, dragging me with him again to check a few things related to the hotel. I had no idea why we were paying him.

A few hours were left until the party and by the time I got back to my room, it got dark outside. I could've spent my free time with Nazli if Kemal hadn't interfered again. My wife was nowhere to be seen though, I called her name and didn't receive any reply either.
