Flashback 1949

It's been a year since Adelaide and Jasper had met. They weren't on the next stage like Marilyn and Alice. Jasper saw Adelaide standing near a window when he came back form seeing his friends Peter and Charolette. He walked over to her and started kissing her neck. "I didn't know you were back this early."

Jasper pulled away and looked at her. "They want to meet you." He tells her. "Their downstairs."

Adelaide nodded as he walked with her. Together, they got to the bottom of the stairs when Peter and Charolette saw them. "This is Adelaide Swan." He said gaining their attention. "My beautiful mate."

"Little red." Peter called her that.

Adelaide looked at Jasper as he kissed her head. "I thought that name died with my brother." She says as she looked back at his friends. "It's nice to meet you two."

"Come." Charolette tells Adelaide.

Jasper watched the two walk away making Peter shake his head at his mate and back to Jasper. "Seems like the two of you haven't mated yet."

"Shut up."

Night fell and Adelaide looked at the dead body at her feet. She didn't go home with Charolette as she wanted to be by herself just to find a guy bleeding. Hearing footsteps, Adelaide left.

Jasper was worried as he hasn't seen his mate yet till he caught the smell of blood. Human. He looked at Charolette who shrugged as Adelaide didn't feed like she did. "Adelaide?"

The red head walked up to him showing the blood on his mate. "I-I didn't mean too."

Alice and Marilyn looked at one another as Adelaide ran into Jasper's arms hating what she did as she dried sob. "Let's get you cleaned up." He said making her nod. Jasper looked at the others who held smiles as they understood that Adelaide was important right now. "I'll be back after I help my mate."

"Take as long as you need, Major." Peter says. "She needs you."

Jasper lead Adelaide upstairs. She hated herself for what she had done. "Darlin', what happened?"

"I was with Charolette, but I started thinking of something and decided to be alone for a bit. As I was walking, I found a guy bleeding in the alleyway and I...."

"I understand." He said as he looked at her dress once they were in the bathroom.

Blood was on her face and clothes. Jasper ripped her dress off knowing they will have to burn it. Adelaide looked up to see his eyes were black. Jasper leaned in and kissed her. Adelaide kissed in back. Jasper felt Adelaide rip his shirt as he finished undressing her.

Downstairs, they heard Jasper and Adelaide upstairs making the two couples leave laughing. "Major finally did it." Peter said.

"Peter, shut up." Charolette said as they left as Alice and Marilyn went hunting.

Present day

Jasper kissed Adelaide's head as he thought back to the first time they gave into one another. "Our lives are about to change." Adelaide said as she looked up at him.

"We have one another, darlin'." Jasper said as they knew in a few hours their lives change. "Everything will be alright, okay."

"Okay."
