Jasper saw Adelaide walking towards him, but she stopped as she saw Bella. The red head shook her head as Jasper walked over to her. "Why did she had to find out?" She asked as she felt Jasper kiss her head as Rosalie and Alice walked over. "We're screwed."

They watched Adelaide go to her car as Jasper followed her. Rosalie looked at Alice. "I told you that she wouldn't be too happy about this. She finally has family and that girl will do anything to get rid of her human life to be like us." Rosalie says. 

Marilyn grabbed Alice's hand as she knew she felt upset. "Baby, it wasn't your fault." She says. "Just let them figure out together."

Jasper has been searching for Adelaide since they came home. She was off towards the woods as she wanted to forget everything that happens. Jasper heard crying and saw his mate. "Adelaide."

"I'm fine, Jasper." She says. "Just wished that the one family I actually have would continue on, but knowing that she knows was going to be hell." Adelaide turned to look at Jasper. "What am I going to do?"

"I don't know." He tells her. "Just let it happen, I guess, but you have rights to put your foot down."

Adelaide looked at Jasper smiling. She was going to put her foot down and every time she hears Bella ask to be turned. She will absolutely tell her off. "Okay." She says. "Thanks for telling me that."

"Come here." Jasper says as she walked over to him a she wrapped her up in his arms. "I know you want your blood line to continue, but I just know that if she is the one for Edward then we have to prove to her that she is making the right choice about being one of us." Adelaide looked into his eyes. "I promise."

Adelaide smiled as she kissed him. Hearing him say that had her smiling. He was right. She can put her foot down because she knows Edward won't. Jasper pushed her up against the tree making her gasp. Just the look in her eyes had her smirking. This is one way to clear her mind and that is by Jasper. The man who made her life better from day one.

Later that day, Edward walked into Adelaide's room to see her playing with Jasper's hair. "Bella wants to know you." He says. "I told her that she would have to talk to you."

"Okay." Adelaide replies. "Is that all?"

"Yes."

Adelaide looked in her lap at her mate and smiled. "You did great, darlin'." He tells her. "Now how about we start planning a day out."

Adelaide nodded as it has been awhile since they have been on a date. Jasper pulled her down to him and kissed her. "I'm not worried."

"I know you're not, but..." Adelaide gave him a look making him shut up. She smiled in victory as he sat up and kissed her. "Let's see where this goes."

Adelaide nodded as she too was wondering what the future held for them. She just hopes its nothing to serious.
