Storms was always something Adelaide looked forward too. Baseball and enjoying the rain against her cool skin. Jasper walked up behind her and kissed her shoulder. She looked up smiling as she looked back outside. "Do you think with Bella being there will be a problem?"

"I don't think so." He said. "Edward has been talking about how Alice saw the nomads leaving. I'm sure everything will be fine."

Adelaide nodded as she rested her head against his chest. Maybe he was right. Everything will be fine, but something was telling her that something might change. Jasper knew she was worried, but he hopes she could enjoy her day out with their family. Something Adelaide Cullen has been wanting to do.

At the field, Adelaide smiled as she watched the others practice. Jasper smiled as he saw how his mate was throwing the ball at Marylin. He knew she was worried still, but there is that part of him that wished he could show her that he won't let anything happen to her. Adelaide snuck up behind Jasper and wrapped her arms around his neck. "What's got you thinking, Major?" She asked him.

"You."

"I know I'm worried, but I want to put it aside and enjoy today. We finally have a storm that we don't have to wait a couple weeks for." She said as she kissed his cheek. "I do know what I would like the most once prom is over."

"What's that, darlin?"

"You. Me. Vacation."

Jasper looked at her smiling as he kissed her head. "As long as Alice keeps Marylin at bay then it will be the two of us."

"Hey. That's my best friend you're talking too. If I want..."

"Marylin, we have something planned, but its away from them. They have never had their time alone since 1949. Let them be."

Adelaide and Jasper laughed as Marylin kissed Alice. They all shook their head as Edward and Bella arrived. Adelaide sighed as she knew this was a bad idea. Hearing Alice say it's time had Adelaide walking to her spot on the field. "Let's get this over with."

"Agree."

So far so good. Adelaide thought. Maybe I was worried about nothing.

Jasper looked at his mate just as Alice froze in her spot. They knew right there that something was going to happen. "Stop!" Alice called out. Everyone rushed in besides Adelaide.

Jasper went to her side as he was worried. "Darlin?" He said as she looked at him. "What's wrong?"

"I have a very bad feeling about this." She said. "Bella shouldn't be here."

"Edward..."

"I don't give two fucks what Edward wants or thinks! She is my family and Edward should have taken her somewhere else where she isn't put in danger." She said. 'Jasper, none of this should be happening. We should be enjoying our time instead of worrying about uninvited guess and Bella's safety. All this is on Edward and he has to see it."

Bella was confused by what Jasper and Adelaide was talking about, but she could tell that Adelaide was upset. Jasper managed to calm his mate down and carry her to the others just for the three nomads arrive. The redhead laid her head on Jasper's chest with her eyes close as she was dong everything she can to think of something else. When the wind blew, Adelaide's eyes opened. "No."

"You brought a snack."
