Adelaide and Jasper were playing chess when the redhead was tackled causing Jasper to growl. "Whoa, Major." Marilyn says. "It's just us."

Adelaide flipped the redhead off of her and over to her husband. She got him to look at her causing him to calm down. Alice poked her head in. "I tried to tell you that was a bad idea."

"When do I listen?"

Alice gave her a look causing Jasper and Adelaide to gag. The two looked at them and smiled. "Welcome back."

"It's good to see you two, but what is the reason for you guys to just show up."

Alice skipped over to Adelaide and left with her causing Jasper to look at his sister. She shrugged as Alice didn't say anything to her. Jasper looked towards the room Alice dragged Adelaide into.

"What's going on?"

"Last year, I had a vision of you having a baby by Jasper." The redhead stared in shock. "I called Eleazar and he said it's impossible, but you have a gift he never could figure out."

Adelaide stood up and walked to the window. "Are you saying that I have a gift to carry children by my mate, but I'm not pregnant."

"Yet." Alice says. "I think the timing has to be right. Like how you and Jasper met. Maybe all these years, it wasn't the right time. Maybe sooner or later, is the right time."

Adelaide didn't say a word as she walked away. She was conflicted, confused, frustrated, every emotion that she has going through her. Jasper looked at his mate than to his best friend. "What did you talk to her about?"

"My vision."

"Of?"

"Your child."

Finding his wife, Jasper walked over to her. "I don't know how to feel about what Alice said." She says knowing Jasper is behind her. "I always thought of adopting, but I never said anything because I wanted you to see that you are strong around humans."

"We can still adopt." He says kissing her head. "I want a family with you."

Adelaide smiled as she looked at him. "I love you, Jasper."

"I love you, darlin."

From inside, their friends smiled as they watched the couple talk about their future. Alice smiled as she knew that they will leave soon and if they do, her and Marilyn will follow. It was them in 1948 and it will always be them.
