Adelaide and Marylin arrived in Pennsylvania few weeks ago. The best friends were in hiding since the sun was out. Now that it's raining, Adelaide wanted to get out of the apartment. "Let's go to that cute diner we saw." Marilyn suggested.

Adelaide shrugged as she didn't care. She rather be in their apartment sketching. She was tired and hungry. Marilyn opened the door for her friend making Adelaide smile as she took a step in.

Alice smiled as Jasper stiffened at the pull he was getting. He looked to see the most beautiful girl with reddish hair and freckles on her face. She was breathtaking. Jasper looked at his friend who nodded. That was his mate.

Adelaide smiled as she looked through the menu when she felt someone take a seat beside her making her hear a growl. "Marilyn, it's not nice to growl at people."

"She's right."

Adelaide looked up to see a blonde beside her and a girl with short hair beside Marilyn. "Ummm.. hi?"

"Hello, I'm Alice and this is my best friend Jasper."

"It's nice to meet you two, I'm..."

"Adelaide and she's Marilyn."

"How..."

"Oh. I can see the future."

Adelaide looked at Marilyn. "Than we won't say a word since you already know what happens next."

"I think you would want to hear about mates."

Just that word got both girls to look at Alice. "You know who our mates are?" Marilyn asked for the first time.

"Yes." Alice said smiling at Marylin making her smile.

Adelaide looked at Jasper and smiled as the puzzle connected. These two are their mates. She knew right there that this was where their story begins.
