The following day, Jasper kept Adelaide away from Rosalie and those that didn't believe her. He hated that Adelaide was upset over what is happening. Alice looked at them, but Adelaide kept her mouth shut. She had nothing to say to any of them, but Jasper and Marilyn.

Alice sighed making Marilyn look at her. "Baby, I told you that if you just listen to the eldest Swan that Bella will be curious if she catches on. Especially with the way Edward acted."

"I wished I listened." Rosalie replies. "Adelaide spoke the truth."

They all sighed knowing Edward should have listened to Adelaide and now she won't speak to no one, but Jasper and Marilyn.

Through the morning, Adelaide ignored her family and only spoke to her mate or Marilyn. Jasper kissed her making her see that she isn't alone. "Their upset that you refuse to speak to them. Especially Alice."

"I'm just making a point in this." She tells him. "I knew she was going to be curious cause look at me."

"Darlin'..."

"I became a monster. All because I was curious about the cat." Adelaide said as she looked at Bella. "I don't want her being like me. I want her to have a family and grow old." She looked at Jasper with a sad smile. "Something I want with you."

Jasper smiled as he kissed her. "I want the same with you, darlin'." He tells her as she looked up at him. "I love you, Adelaide."

"I love you."

Marilyn walked over with Alice. "Ads, I heard you and now I see why you are more upset than Rosalie."

"She's the last of my family." Adelaide said as she walked away.

Jasper sighed as he looked at Alice and Marilyn. "Edward screwed up big time." Jasper tells the two as he went after Adelaide.

Alice wondered if she should tell Adelaide of the vision she had of Jasper and a child. Seeing the upset look on her friend's face bothered her, but she also knew that if she said a word that Adelaide will get excited and it might not happen. "Your not going to tell her."

"I don't want her to get her hopes up." Alice tells Marilyn. "I'm going to let them find out on their own."

Later that day, Adelaide went to her favorite spot she found. A beautiful lake where she could relax. She stripped off her clothes and dived in. Jasper was hunting when he saw her and stopped. There in the lake was his beautiful mate.

He stripped out of his clothes and laid them beside hers as he walked in. Swimming up behind her he kissed her shoulder making her turn around to face him. Adelaide smiled as she kissed him. This was all she needed for now. Jasper. She felt him pull her close as the kiss became more heated for them making him rush them out of the water as they became one.
