Adelaide took Jasper hunting as Alice had Marylin. Jasper looked at his mate and noticed her looking away. "Baby, don't worry about it. She will listen to you because you are her family and two, you can be straightforward sometimes."

"I don't want her thinking that I will turn her because we're family." She says. "I care for her, but I don't think she needs this life despite her being with Edward." Adelaide looked up at him. "She..." she sighed. "...she doesn't know how hard it is being like us. The blood is very tempting."

"I know darlin, but you heard our bubbly friend. She's meant to be one of us one day."

Adelaide sighed as there was no stopping it. Bella may have made her choice and Adelaide will be the one to try and change her mind.

When they got back, Adelaide walked in with Jasper causing Bella to look at them. "Bella this is the aunt that went missing years ago." Edward said.

"Hello Bella, my name is Adelaide Swan-Cullen. As you heard my story of my disappearance." Bella nodded. "Now you know there's more."

"What happened?"

"Curiosity kills the cat." Was all Adelaide said as she lead Jasper to their room.

Bella ran after them wanting to know more. "Please."

Adelaide looked at Jasper and nodded for him to go upstairs as she turned around and looked at Bella. "In 1901, I was just like you, curious, but that curiosity turned me into this." She pointed at herself. "I never knew that kitten was going to lead me to my certain death just to wake up three days later as a vampire." Adelaide looked at Marylin as she stood there listening. "On my journey, I turned one person because I was alone and I felt bad for her. 1948, I fell in love with Jasper and I will never regret that day at all or this life because I have him with me."

Bella nodded. "Thank you."

"Just don't ask me to turn you and I better not dare hear you aggravate to be turned or so help me that I will give you hell."

Bella nodded as she walked away. Adelaide went to her room and looked at Jasper laying on the bed. "That was a little hard on you explaining." Jasper tells her as he got out of bed. "You didn't have to tell her everything."

"She doesn't know most of my life and I'm not going to tell her." She tells him. "Like I told her, 1948 was the best year of my life because I met you and I fell in love with you the more time we spent together. That is something I will never regret in this life is you."

Jasper smiled as he kissed her. "Come on. Let's go for a walk and relax."

"That sounds good."

Marylin followed them with Alice, Emmett, and Rosalie. Neither of them were wanting to be there anymore than they have to. Besides Alice, but Edward wanted to have Bella to himself for now. Adelaide looked at Jasper with a smile before she ran off into the woods laughing.
