Another month went by and some of the Cullens were back together. Peter and Charolette had left for a vacation, but will stay in contact. Adelaide sat in the living room staring at a painting that she never understood why she bought it. "Ads?"

"Nothing isn't bothering me, Esme." She says. "Just trying to understand why I bought this painting."

Jasper walked in with Emmett when they heard the girls. Carlisle walked out and looked at them. "Alice?" Marylin could be heard saying causing them to walk in.

Adelaide ran over to Jasper who pulled her into a hug as they waited for Alice to come through. When she did, she looked to be heartbroken. She looked at Adelaide as she is definitely the last Swan. "What?" Adelaide asked. "What did you see, Alice?"

"Bella." She tells them as Marylin put her arms around her. "She's dead."

Jasper walked into his and Adelaide's room. She has been closed off since Alice left. Marylin was upset that her mate went after a human, but she will have that talk when she sees her. "Darlin'?" She looked up at him. "Don't worry. Alice is going to make sure that Bella is safe."

"That's not why I'm upset." She says. "It's how Alice left. She just drops everything and forgets my best friend. Her fucking mate. Or at least that is what she claims." Adelaide sighed. "It's ridiculous how she throws everything for a human that is only obsessing with Edward and wanting to be turned."

"It's her first human friend." Marylin says.

"Alice can simply ignore Rosalie and the rules. What makes Bella so fucking special? And no, it's not because of family here. At this point, I'm kind of embarrassed having Bella as a great great great niece. She shows one side that none of the Swans had. Obsession."

Rosalie and Emmett walked in as Adelaide left. Jasper didn't say much as he followed her causing Marylin to walk out and call Alice and tell her how she feels and how she is getting treated. "Ali, we need to talk, baby. It's about how you are with Bella and how you ditch me." She says as she walked into her room. "I really love you, but it feels as if you are more obsessed with Bella, like you love her. I feel like you don't care about me anymore."

"I do." She says. "I'm sorry, Mary. Once I know for sure she's alive and inform everyone else, I'm coming back to you. I love you, Marylin Hale."

The redhead smiled. "I love you, Alice."

Jasper sat beside the redhead Swan as they were cuddled up. "I don't know anymore." She says. "Things have change and..."

"Adelaide! Jasper!" They looked away from each other.

"Yes, Marylin..."

"Edward has gone to the Volturi."

"Why?" Jasper asked as they stood up.

"Because Rosalie opened her big mouth and told Edward that he lost Bella. She's not dead, but now my Alice is gone to the Volturi so Bella can prove to him that she is alive." She says and looks at her best friend. "I'm scared."

"Alice is strong. She will come back to you as soon as possible."

"That's a promise she made." Marylin says. "We're going home. To Forks."
