CAITLIN POV:

Unlike what has happened in the last two months, where there was a period of calm, meaning no meta-human attacks, today began with a confrontation in downtown Central City. Just twenty minutes after we arrived at STAR Labs, the central computer alarm went off and as Barry and I geared up, Cisco and Harry tried to find out more about what was going on.

As soon as we left STAR Labs and followed the coordinates that Cisco had given us, we arrived at a commercial area, where there were literally people glued to the walls of the buildings. After we managed to identify, in the midst of the confusion, who the meta-human was, we noticed that it was just a teenager, who was not really a meta-human, but that he had two weapons in his possession, one of fire and the other that threw lightning .

As the teenager was not a meta-human, just a criminal with weapons of meta-human powers, Cisco called Joe for him to come to us and at the end of the confrontation, take the teenager to the CCPD. However, it was at the end of our confrontation, while Barry was putting the handcuffs on him, he opened a small bottle and dropped a few drops of the yellow liquid that was inside, onto Barry's hand.

"It's all yours, detective." Barry a.k The Flash said as he handed the boy to Joe.

I'm not sure how to explain what happened in the next few seconds, but what I can tell you is that I had my hand on Barry's arm. At STAR Labs, we tried to use the most basic tactics to remove glue from a person's skin, such as using warm soapy water, lemon juice, butter and olive oil, acetone and even liquid laundry soap but none of those shapes resulted.

- It is clear that this is not a common glue. Did you say the liquid was in a bottle?" Wells asked and Barry just nodded.

Harry came out of the cortex and came back seconds later with a cotton swab in hand and came to our side and took a sample of the glue for analysis. Only after the analysis was it going to work on a way to get us unstuck, which could only last a few hours like the whole day, so the first thing Barry did was call Joe to explain what was going on and to let him tell the captain that Barry couldn't go to work today.

Two hours after Harry had taken the glue sample for analysis, he came back with the results and actually this glue had a very altered formula, which made it difficult for us to make a kind of antiduct to get ourselves unstuck.

"We'll work on it, but only tomorrow we'll be able to take you off." Harry said putting the tablet down on Cisco's desk.

"Looks like we're going to be glued together for the rest of the day." Barry said smiling.

As you can imagine, the rest of the day for us was quite complicated, as we without the simple tasks could do it perfectly, as I was without a hand less. But we ended up finding a rhythm that was more pleasant for both of us.

"Would you like me to go get our lunch and we'll have lunch around here?" Ralph asked.

- Why? Just because we're stuck together, we won't be stuck in this lab all day.- I replied.

When we arrived at Jitters, we went to sit at the first table that we saw was free and as soon as the waitress came to meet us at the table, we placed our order. Barry, Cisco, and Ralph ordered hamburger and fries. Harry and I ordered a chicken salad with boiled egg. At the end of lunch, we left the Jitters and headed back to STAR Labs where me, Barry and Ralph stayed in the cortex looking at the city's surveillance cameras while Harry and Cisco went to work on an "antiduct" for this mysterious glue.

It was half past six when me, Barry and Ralph left STAR Labs and after a little "discussion" about where we were going to have dinner and spend the night, we ended up deciding that today we were going to Barry's loft. With the decision made, Barry used his super speed to get us to his loft. Inside, we went to sit on the sofa and turned on the television, as it was the only thing we could do.

"What do you think we order two pizzas for dinner?" Barry asked when the movie on TV ended.

- Sounds like a good idea to me. By the way Julio's has a fantastic peperonni pizza with black olives and some amazing oreo milkshakes.

- Looks like our dinner is chosen. - Barry said taking his cell phone and called the restaurant.

It was quarter past eight when the doorbell rang and we both carefully got up from the couch and went to open the door. After we paid for our dinner we took the pizza boxes and milkshakes to the table and got two glasses from the cupboard and then the orange juice from the fridge and started to have dinner.

At the end of lunch, after tidying up the kitchen and putting what was left of the pizzas in the fridge, we went back to the sofa and were watching a series. However, as the hours began to advance, my sleep was also beginning to increase, so Barry turned off the television and we went to his room, so that we could finally rest.

Before we got into his bed, Barry went to his closet and pulled out two shorts, one for me to wear and the other for him. Although I couldn't change the top of my outfit, I could remove the jeans I was wearing and the shorts were more comfortable for sleeping.

In the morning I woke up to a call from Cisco telling us to go to STAR Labs, as he and Harry finished the liquid that was going to take us off. I carefully woke up Barry and explained to him what Cisco had told me and we quickly got up from his bed and, after getting my things and Barry going to his closet and pulling out two sweaters, wearing one of them, we left his house and went to STAR Labs.

- It took all afternoon and all night, but I think we made it. I will spread this liquid in the area where you are glued and, if it works well, in a few minutes you will be able to loosen up.

After Harry spread the liquid where we were glued, we only had to wait about two minutes before we managed to get unstuck.

- Thank you guys, I don't even know how to thank you. Now I think I'd better go home to change clothes, at least to wear a fresh nightgown.

- No need. I brought this sweater for you and your jeans are in your suitcase.- Barry said giving me his sweater.

I went to the ladies' room and changed my clothes and returning to the cortex, Barry came to me asking me if I didn't want to go with him to Jitters, as we hadn't had breakfast yet.

"Despite the situation we were in, I was glad I was glued to you." Barry said smiling.

- Me either. If I ever go through the same situation, I want it to be with you.

The truth is, I wasn't lying when I said that the time we were glued together was kind of fun. And there's no one else I want to go through the same thing with, except Barry.
