Snowbarry One Shots II

BARRY POV:

- Caitlin?! Caitlin?! Are you here? Please answer me! - I yelled.

Of all the words in the world, chaos is the only correct word to define today. All of us at the CCPD thought that today would be another day, where we would do our work and at the end of our shift, we would go home to our families and friends, but the truth is that no one suspected what was going to happen this afternoon. 

After lunch my friends from STAR Labs and I parted ways, as I still had to go to CCPD for a few more hours, as I had been given the full-time shift. As soon as I arrived at CCPD and before I could even enter my office, I was called to a crime scene, along with Joe and Eddie, his partner and Iris' current boyfriend. After going to my office to get my CSI kit, me, Joe and Eddie left the CCPD and went to Eddie's car. Once we got to the crime scene, I went inside the building to collect all the clues, while Eddie and Joe went to talk to the logistician and witnesses. What we didn't know was that at CCPD things were starting to get complicated.

I'm not really sure what happened or how it happened, but all of a sudden I have a very worried Joe telling me that there was an explosion at CCPD. I put all the evidence I'd collected so far into my kit and the three of us went, namely me, Joe and Eddie, to the CCPD. When we got there, there were all the detectives, cleaning staff, criminals and laboratory staff outside, three ambulances and two bomb squad vans. Jordan, one of the senior detectives, told us that a bomb had been left outside our commander's door.

- And the number of injuries? Did you guys, manage to get everyone out of there? - I asked Jordan.

- We still don't know the complete data, because only now is that the bomb squad managed to enter the building, but for now two dead and four slightly injured were found.- Jordan said.

- Sorry, but I really have to answer.- I said after seeing that Wells was calling me.

- Barry, I heard there was an explosion at the CCPD, how are you? Were you hurt?

- No. Luckily I had been called to a crime scene, so I wasn't in the building when there was the explosion.

- Thank God. But I called you to see if Caitlin is okay.

- I don't understand the question. Is she not with you?

- No! You forgot your wallet at Jitters so she took you there to the CCPD. Then I heard about the explosion and whenever I try to call her, she doesn't answer me.

Before Wells could say anything else, I ended the call and headed for the CCPD entrance, but as expected the bomb squad agents weren't letting me into the building. Joe came up to me and tried to convince me to go back to where I was but as soon as I told him Caitlin was in there, he figured the best thing to do was actually convince the bomb squad agent to let me in. That's why he told me to wear one of their suits.

- Caitlin?! Caitlin?! Are you here? Please answer me! - I shouted as soon as I entered the CCPD.

Now think, Barry, where can she be?! Well, if she came to meet me, she could be in the lab or... in my office. Slowly, as I didn't want to hurt anyone, who might be unconscious on the floor, I went to my office, which didn't even have a door anymore, and looked for her. It wasn't too difficult to find her as she was behind my desk, lying on the floor with blood running down the back of her neck.

- Joe! Commander... Here! - I exclaimed. My next attitude was to make sure she was still breathing and also quickly the bomb squad commander came with the paramedics to help her.

- We have to take her quickly to the hospital. - Said one of the paramedics.

- I'll go with you. I don't want to leave her side.
