'Did you look at the contract?'

My thumbs hover over the keyboard. I gulped. What I saw in the contract yesterday was nothing compared to the beautiful man I declared my love to the last couple of days. I sigh, beginning to type. I prayed that he'd be understanding about my inquiries. I heard some people in this lifestyle can be rude; even controlling in certain areas.

'I did. I have a few questions to ask you if you don't mind me doing so?'

I click SEND, then wait for him to answer. I grab my laptop and login to my class to see if I had anything to do for this week. The only thing I could see on the agenda was write an essay about how fear can over take your life. Oh boy, this should be interesting. As I opened up another tab, I begin to research articles for my assignment. Just as I begin to read my first potential source, I hear my phone vibrate on my bed.

Grabbing it, I look down to see Freddie had replied.

'Not at all, darling.' he writes. 'i was actually hoping we'd get to discuss this contract thoroughly, so each of us know what to expect.'

'Would you care to join me in my house tonight at 7:30? I'll have Brian fetch you.'

I took a deep breath, thinking about the last time I was at Freddie's gigantic house. The last time I was there, he became an utter ass and didn't talk to me for nearly three weeks. Not that I was texting him either, but still.

'Will I be kicked out like the last time? I'd rather not go through another event like again.'

It took a few minutes, but Freddie replied in an instant.

'Not at all. As I promised to myself, I will not allow my frustrations get the best of me when I'm around you. You are my princess and I should respect you as such.'

I nod at the text. He's pretty serious. I look at the time: 2:39p.m. I think I have a bit of time to get some homework done and be ready by 7:30 tonight...

'Okay. Have Brian come get me before 7:00 so I won't be late to meet you. I'd rather not keep you waiting; especially with something as serious as this.'

'I'd wait for you endlessly, princess. Take all the time you need. But yes; I'll have Brian come get you at the requested time. See you then. I love you.'

A smile creeps up on my lips seeing him write that. Love wasn't rational, that I've concluded since I've met Freddie. I just hope that this discussion goes well, and I hope I get all the answers I needed.

'I love you too.'

Brian arrived at 6:58p.m. I was just finishing up strapping my wedges on. I look myself over in the mirror, and pray that Freddie found me attractive. I remember to grab my bag, phone and contract. Once I see the driver's side door open, I see Brian wave at me as he opens one of the back doors.

"Good evening, Ms. Helgard," Brian says, "Mr. Highmore sent me to come get you. He informed me he would've retrieved you himself, however, he says he had a few things to take care of regarding the company."
