I stepped into Freddie's office, nearly tripping over my feet due to the anxiety coursing through me. I didn't want to be late, but from the disapproving look in his eye, it proved to me that I was, in fact, late.

He pivots his heel towards the other direction where the window is.  He walks to his desk with a stack of papers. While I patiently wait for him to acknowledge me, he comes back around towards me. Without even meeting my gaze, he slaps the papers on the conference table, then returns to his desk and sits in his swivel chair; his head stooped low.

"Please leave now, Ms. Helgard." He says curtly.

I look at him quizzically. "Mr. Highmore," I begin, taking the stack of papers held together by a paper clip. "What do you want me to do with these?"

"I don't care!" He snaps, "Just do something!" He tosses a crumpled up piece of paper at my direction. "Ye bloody twat!"

Well that stung.

"Yes, sir." I reply. "I'll get right on it, sir." I immediately scurry out of his office; the burn still lingering in my chest.

What was going on with him?

I typed away on my computer at the receptionist desk, trying to block out the on-going thoughts of Freddie's cold and curt demeanor.

I didn't understand why he acted the way he did. He forced me to drink with him. He put his lips on mine. I couldn't understand it. What was his problem?

Just as I was tending to my task, I hear the entrance to the building open, the light breeze and soft sunlight greeting my skin gently. I looked up to see a strikingly beautiful blonde woman wearing a red blouse and jeans. Her hair was styled in beach waves and her face was absolutely flawless.

"Hi!" I greet with a smile. "How may I help you?"

"Hi," she replies back, her facial expression non existent. Her lips remained in a straight line. "I'm Aubrey and I'm looking for Freddie Highmore?" she digs into her pocket and fishes out her phone. "He asked me to come meet with him today in his office, so..."

"He's in his office." I reply. "Straight down the hall towards the brown door."

"Okay, thank you." She states. She walked past my desk and leaves.

I continue on with my task as I hear her footsteps pad down the hall. Once I hear the door close, I do my best to drown out any thoughts of Freddie and Aubrey. Although, what I think Freddie didn't realize, was the air vents were still open. Which meant I could hear every word exchange between the two.

"What are you doing here, Aubrey?" I hear Freddie mutter out.

"I just came by to show you how sorry I am," she replies teasingly. "I'm such a bad little girl."

"Get on yer knees," Freddie demands. "ye know what to do."

I cupped my hand over my mouth to prevent myself from vomiting. I then went into my purse to try and find my ear buds, but couldn't find them. And then it dawned on me that I left them at home.

Great, now I have to listen to these two having sex...

This should be fun...

Once they were done, I had managed to finish up my task. And as I was about to leave, I hear a crash.

"GET THE HELL OUT OF ME OFFICE, YE TWAT!" Freddie barks as he opens the door. "Ye are nothing but a bloody slag!"

Aubrey scurries out moments later in her panties and red shirt she was wearing, her jeans in hand as well as her shoes. She is crying now, and as she walks last me, she cranes her head in my direction.

"You better get out while you can," she sobs. "because that man, is a monster!"

The door to the front entrance of the building slams shut, and I am left standing in the middle of the room, dumbfounded.

"Ms. Helgard!" Freddie calls out to me. I turn around and see him leaning against the doorframe. He looked disheveled and his suit was now wrinkled and unkept.

"Y-yes, Mr. Highmore?" I ask him.

He steps aside. "I need to see you in my office, immediately."
