One thing that surprised me was that Freddie didn't want to use his car on the way out of our room. I followed him as we walk away from the resort, and then I find myself sitting on a bench at a bus stop of all things. As I took my seat adjacent to Freddie, I look off into the distance, letting the California air greet me in a humid embrace.

"Why are we taking the bus?" I ask. "I mean, we have a car."

"Yes, we do," Freddie replied, nodding as he looks at his watch. "I may be rich, but I was raised to humble myself, and one of the ways I'm doing that is by taking the bus."

I couldn't help but let a smile dance upon my lips at this new-found fact. My Daddy, being so humble.

Whoa... I can't believe I just referred to Freddie as my Daddy in my head. This whole daddy-dom, little girl relationship was taking a bit longer in getting used to.

Just as I was about to reply to Freddie's statement with a compliment, the bus pulls up to our spot. We stand to our feet, and as the double doors open, Freddie takes out his wallet and hands the bus driver the wages we'd need to get day passes.

"The seats are sort of comfortable," I say as we sit down. The driver pulls off into the street, taking us into the sea of cars and trucks, buses and buggies. "what did you think of breakfast?" I ask, trying to make conversation.

Freddie shrugs. "It was okay," he looks at me then, eyes full of something that I couldn't quite place. Happiness? Adoration? "I was too distracted to truly enjoy the food."

"And what were you distracted by, Mr. Highmore?" I smirk.

He places his arm around me, pecking my jawline. "You, of course." He nips at my earlobe playfully, then pulls away. "You always distract me."

I blush. "So do you," I sheepishly admit. "I love you, Daddy."

"I fucking adore you, Princess." He pulls me close to me. "I can't wait to see the smile on your face when you hug your favorite Disney character." He shows me the digital camera that was stuffed in his pocket. "Are you excited, baby girl?"

I nod eagerly. "I am!" I reply. "I can't wait."

"Good," the Englishman replied. "because you deserve it for simply being you."

The minute we arrived at the amusement park, I was amazed by both how immaculate the place was, and by how many people came here. People from China, India, and other countries took the time to come to Disneyland, and today, I was going to be one of those people. Only difference would be that I was born and bred in America.

"Well," Freddie began, wrapping his arm around me. "here we are, Princess." He kisses my cheek, and I blush at his sign of affection. We then walk towards the ticket entrance.

We purchase our tickets, and as soon as we enter the park, a person dressed in a Mickey Mouse shirt blocked us from walking any further as he held a camera in front of us.

"Is this your first time here at Disneyland?" He asks both me and Freddie, his voice feminine. He had this creepy grin to him, and I wasn't sure what to think of this moment, or even him.

"I haven't been here in years," Freddie replied. "my girlfriend hasn't been here ever."

"She's your girlfriend?" The photographer asked. "For a second there sir, I thought she was your daughter!"

Freddie's jaw begins to go stern. "Thank you for your time, but I believe I have to take my girlfriend on a date."

"But don't you want a picture?"

Freddie grabs a hold of my waist, then grabs my ass as we make our way past him. "Not from you, I don't. You'll be hearing from your supervisor about how unprofessional you're being!" We then walk away, making sure that the photographer didn't have any more opportunities to try and harass us.

"That guy was rude," I say once we pass the shops. "just because I'm petite doesn't mean I'm related to you. I don't even have an accent like yours!"

"It doesn't matter whether you have one or not," Freddie replied. "even if I'd married an American woman, your accent would be American because she'd be American."

"Where did you hear that from?" I ask.

The taller male turns to me, smirking. "I've watched a little bit of I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant back in the day."

I laugh at this, and somehow find myself even more attracted to him. We then hold hands, and make our way to the area where all the Pixar rides are.

As we walked, I saw Flynn from It's A Bugs Life walking around the park. In the animated film, he was small. However, the life-like character was almost as tall as Freddie if not taller. I couldn't help but squeal at the sight of him, and instantly ran up to the gigantic bug.

"Freddie! Freddie!" I cry out, hugging Flynn. "Take a picture! Take a picture!"

Freddie chuckles. "Alright, darling," he says. He grabs his phone from his pocket and takes a few photos. Two portrait and three landscape. Flynn gives me a hug and pats Freddie on the head, making his way past us as the other visitors of the park begin to get their picture taken. I walk up to Freddie, then, my face burning with an adrenaline rush.

"I'm sorry you had to see me act like that," I state. "I guess I just got a little excited."

Freddie gives me a kiss on the forehead, then shows me the photos he took. "Don't be embarrassed love," he states. "this is what I wanted to see: you simply being happy." He looks at the photos with me, and gives me a tight squeeze. "I love seeing that beautiful smile. You're beautiful, you know that, Am?"

"I guess I never gave it much thought," I reply. "I'm always focused on working and going to school, that..."

"Well, believe it, baby. Because you are as breathtaking as the sun." He begins to walk, holding me still. "Now, let's get on some of the rides and have a good time, yeah?"

I give him a kiss on the cheek. "Yeah," I reply. "Let's do that."

Author's Note -

This is going to be a two-part chapter. What I'm going to be sharing in the next chapter is something that actually happened to my husband and I when we went to Disneyland! Before I sign off, here is a cool fun fact about this chapter:

When my husband and I went to Disneyland, the first place we went to was the Bugs Life area. We got to meet Flynn and take a few photos.... I just realized this wasn't a super cool fact like I thought it would be... Oh well!

What did you think of this chapter? Let me know in the comments below!

An update will be posted soon. Until then...
