"You want to go on that ride?" Freddie asks me as we stand in line at the Ladybug Tilt-A-Whirl teacup ride. I couldn't help but giggle at the question. It looked fun, and didn't my so-called Daddy say he wanted to see me smile and be happy?

"Yes," I reply. "I want to go on this ride." I smile triumphantly. "It looks fun."

Freddie shrugged. "Alright then," he shoved his hands into his pockets, waiting in line next to me. "after this, I was thinking we could go on the train? It has wonderful views of the park. It's also something every first-timer should go on when visiting the park."

Although I wasn't big on trains, I didn't want to be that spoiled girlfriend who only cared about what she wanted. I took in Freddie's input, then nodded. "Sure," I reply. "that sounds great!"

"Next!"

Freddie and I look in front of each other to see the ride employee motioning us towards the gate; indicating that both Freddie and I were next to enjoy the ride. Taking off his sunglasses, Freddie places them in the middle of his shirt, and walks alongside me as we follow the employee to the next available tea cup.

We buckle our seatbelts, and begin our whirlwind adventure in a ladybug teacup.

"Never again," Freddie protested as we get off the ride. "I think I've done enough spinning to last me a lifetime of migraines."

I chuckle. "Oh, come on, Freddie!" I reply, shoving him playfully. "It's just a ride."

"What did I tell you to call me?" Freddie asks me as he walks us over to a somewhat secluded area. I look at him quizzically. He couldn't be serious, could he?

"You really want me to call you Daddy at a place like this?" I ask. "In front of all these families, Disney characters and staff?"

Freddie gives me kiss on the forehead. "I think Mickey Mouse can handle a bit of kink. I mean, look at him and Minnie. Do you really think it's all flower gardens and magic every night?"

I blush at the thought that the two fictional characters actually had a sex life. I look at Freddie then, not really wanting to call him Daddy, but I knew that it was a part of our deal. We were bound.

By a contract.

"I had fun, Daddy." I state. "Thank you for going on that ride with me."

Freddie kisses my forehead. "You're welcome, Princess," he replied. "anything for you."

The train pulls up to its stop. One by one, each of the passengers climb on board. Freddie and I were the last passengers to get on the train. We took our seats, and held hands in the process. As the train whistle blew, the sound of the train clacking against the tracks filled our ears; engulfing us in a beautiful symphony of rhythm and sight.

The person on the intercom informed us of how the park came to be, the certain monuments that remained in the park and the story behind each and every one of them. Freddie listened intently, letting the information sink in. As we continued the ride, I noticed Freddie was quiet. Severely quiet.

"Are you okay, Daddy?" I ask.

"Did it get dark in here?" Freddie asked. I look at him as if he had ten heads. It was daylight out. What was he talking about with it being dark? "I can't see a thing."

I wave my hand in front of Freddie's face. "How many fingers am I holding up?" I ask him.

"I don't know," Freddie replied. "I can't see anything."

"What are you saying, Freddie?" I start to panic the minute he confirms he can't see a thing.

"I think I might be blind."

"When did this happen?" I start to get off the train with everyone else, coaxing Freddie to place his hand on my shoulder as we climb off. The weight of Freddie's weight pushes down on my shoulder as he climbs off the train. We walk back into the park.

"It started when I was looking at the castle, and then the sun hit my eyes. It's strange because the minute we hit a shady part of the train ride, that's when I felt my vision go completely black." He pauses, then continues. "This happened to me when I was younger, in primary school. Only difference is, I'm in Disneyland, not the classroom."

"How long did that last?" We make our way to the sitting area of Disneyland, where smokers alike took into their moment of inhaling nicotine from their cancer stick.

"I think it lasted a few hours?" He replied. "It was quite scary, actually." He looks up ahead, though I know for a fact he can't see anything.

"Do you want to go to a doctor, or go home?" I didn't know what to do, except ask questions. I needed to figure out a way I could help Freddie.

"No," Freddie said. "I promised you I'd take you to Disneyland, and I'm keeping my word. No matter if I'm broke, rich, poor, or blind. I'm taking you to have a good time."

"But, Freddie," I begin. "why would you do that? You're blind! You can't see!"

The taller man uses his hand to feel for my face. With his thumb on my cheek, he strokes it affectionately. "I love you," Freddie states simply. "why else would I be doing this?"

Author's Note:

Sneaking in an update while I'm at work, lol. Anyway, what do you think of this chapter? There will be two more chapters with both Freddie and Amanda being at Disneyland. On the final "part" I will share with you what had happened the last time I'd gone to Disneyland with my husband. So be prepared for that author's note in the end, lol.

Also, I do apologize if my writing in this chapter seemed rushed or choppy. I have been busy working and taking care of my family. In the next few chapters, I do hope that they will be more thoroughly detailed.
